What do you do with the back of your bookmarks? Do you glue or sew something on it?

I don't, I found that makes the bookmark too thick to be nice in books, so I just try to make sure the back is neat! By using a loop when you start sewing and anchoring the thread at the end there's less knots on the piece overall

If the bookmark was for someone less careful I probably would sew a thin piece of felt/fabric on the back
