what pride means this year.

pride month is not only a celebration of queer joy and community, but also a reminder that we were very marginalised once, and that we will never go back.

i loved giving my followers and mutuals the opportunity to be a part of a virtual parade to show their visibility. some have reached out to me about not being able to be a part of a public event this year and have said this was a great alternative, and seeing all this positive reception and all your submissions melted my heart so much. and if you couldn’t make it and are only there in spirit, thank you so much for reblogging and spreading the word so more people could join - it really meant a lot.

Big thank you to my girlfriend @pennymations for helping me with the shinji chair meme.

So before hrt I was a very angry person and hated everyone and everything ……….. yes even animal videos.

But now I'm 1 year on hrt, and my mind is consumed by the brain rot, I seriously can't get enough of these videos.

In my many many many calls with my girlfriend, I have genuinely lost my ability to speak over the cutest critter that pops up on my PC.

I seriously can't express how much these videos bring me joy.

You have an I Saw the TV Glow tattoo? That's so cool!! It's my favorite film :3

My best friend and one of her girlfriends got the pink opaque ghost on the backs of their necks, and I think I'm gonna get one too tho idk where I'm gonna put it

It took me some time to figure out whereabouts I wanted it, and I ended up putting it on my thigh since it was easier for me to see.

I wanted to put it in a place where It could be easily seen so that way when I'm doubting about my changes and generally feeling dysphoric, I can just look at it and remind myself that I did the right thing.

It's crazy to think I'm now just over a year on hrt now, and getting this tattoo was probably the best way to celebrate it

Also, I saw the tv glow is also one of my fav films and it finally helped me make a decision on what my first tattoo should be

(I had been contemplating my first tattoo for years but never could find the right thing until I saw the film a second time)
