Has anyone talked about Joe's most recent episode? No? Because I gotta.

Hey people, folk, pals, hello! Are you feeling a bit down? Do you need some art in your life? Yearning for some poetry perhaps? Do you enjoy hearing people talk about things they are passionate about? Do you like pinball, space and related sciences?

Well, do I have a treat to recommend to you dear stranger.

Joe Hills most recent episode is a banger (understatement)! Highly recommend you check it out!!

"Apologies in Advance" may be is my new favorite poem!!! Hello!.!.! IT MAKES ME WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT POETRY!?!? It made me feel so much, i honestly cannot lie and say I wasn't grinning like the most feral person the entire time!! The amount of joy that gave me... Ahhhhh!!! If I were better with words I'd wax poetry about that poem hello!?!? I made the glorious decision to watch joes episode during my lunch break as I didnt have time in the morning and honestly I am soso glad I did. It cheered me up beyond belief.

The little starting to reread the poem at the end but then not doing so and giving an explanation was not only funny but also so unexpectedly fitting.

Bare with me, but a long while back (And I may misremember this terribly bc I cant find the post anymore, this is just what stuck with me, so beware) second or theminecraftbee said smth along the lines of Joe Hills while being somewhat unusual (the joe hill difference) in how Joe approaches things, that there still is a very comforting element of their streams and videos. Not adhering to algorithmic optimizing make his content somewhat unexpected if you are used to a certain video structure for example, but still Joe Hills is just Joe Hills. A broader audience is just unused to that, making Joe seem more wild/unpredictable that she really is?

Do you get my drift? Do you know what Im trying to say? Anyway back to what second said, there is a comfort in Joes content because it does hit certain beats (just different ones) and there is a structure and a pattern that makes seemingly unusual or strange actions/choices make very much sense and make them be expected somewhat and there is a comfort in that. (Joe and his content are obv soso much more than that).

My point is that this video especially reminded me of what bee said because it is so comforting and it is so much what Joes content is. And I love that. It brings a sense of security and wonder, it feels safe.

Also I dont know anything about pinball, but I know science. Listening to Joe talk about the thought process behind the pinball machine (building it irl!?!? I hope so much that he gets to do that and a little that ill be around to see it), the months of research, everything that is begin considered while talking to cub. Thats everything. Hearing people talk about something they clearly adore/know/worked on/are passionate about is, in my humble opinion, one of the coolest things to listen to. It makes me want to know about pinball. There is something so sweet about wanting to learn, about being excited for knowledge.

Also what an idea to base the inside on space telescopes and how they aid in perceiving space. What do you mean its different parts of the spectrum of electromagnetics. What do you mean you already have fitting blocks to represent those. Hello!?!! I love the bone blocks for x-ray, honestly when I think of Gamma I think of the Album by fewjar (which is great, amazing band) which is red themed so I dont share the association with slime and the hulk but honestly yeah that makes sense regardless. Amazing associations!! My brain is vibrating with excitement for the future and screaming in joy looking back. The pinball Maschine is beyond epic already!!

Anyway if you read all that I assume prolly already know Joe Hills and have seen their most recent episode. If not check it out and maybe check out Joes internet presence in general (reasons listed above lmao)
