Believe it or not, I’ve committed fic again - I blame @skambigbang and their 2025 Reverse Bang, and so should you.

You could of course also blame @tuiiii who made the cosy and very Evak-y art that started this whole idea in the first place.

Isak is - as we all know - an idiot. Even is trying to find out why Isak has been an idiot this time. The road to finding out is long and very, very winding…

(Surprisingly enough, this is not the stupidest thing I’ve ever written. Unfortunately that doesn’t say much.)

IT'S GETTING CLOSER!

So, in this year's SKAM Reverse Bang, we have several people pulling double duty. We have artists creating two or even three art pieces. We have writer writing two fics, solo or in tandem. We have people beta reading multiple fics. We have people participating both as artist and writer, or as artist and beta reader, or as all three!

We also have a variety of ships - canon ships and non-canon ships, sometimes even combined into one fic.

Today's artist wears multiple hats in this event - and the art is paired with a fic which also has multiples involved... but more about that tomorrow!

In a few short weeks, the SKAM Reverse Bang 2025 event will start (or at least, the artworks and fics will be let out in the wild - because for our artists and writers who are hard at work it's long begun!)

Fun Story to Share.

I got my (now 18-year-old) daughter into Ao3 back in 2021. I taught her she should always comment - even if the fic looks old or abandoned or whatever. She did.

Well - she got this email this morning:

The fic was written in 2014 and essentially abandoned.

Bethy read and reviewed in 2021 (and was actually the only person who had commented at all).

Today in 2025 - the final chapter was posted by the author and this was her reply to Bethy’s comment.
