This is what was going on

This is what was going on in Poland this night. This is what is going to repeat tomorrow. Polish people got out into the streets to protest against the ban on abortion. Many has been hurt e.g. with pepper spray and many arrested.
A shitload of police protected the house of our DICTATOR Jarosław Kaczyński who single-handedly for years has been controling 235 memebers of the parliament from his ruling party PIS. Noone could get near the house for hundreds of meters.
Poland is being destroyed but these protesting people give us hope. But what IS hope when a bunch of old unhappy people in power hate you, hate women, hate liberals, hate LGBT people, hate intelligent people? When they want to create a country full of their uneducated supporters that won't ever protest? Some people say the elections in three years won't be held as PIS won't allow it. Or that the results will not be the real results. I for sure would not be surprised. None of my friends plan to be in Poland in three years.
This is the time where feminists of all world should look at Poland and help us. Because women just lost their (facade of) dignity here and we will lose remnants of it. And for what? To make people forget for a couple of days that the government screwed up and that Poland is not handling well with the virus at all.

The most terrible, horrible thing about this exam session is how damn /lonely/ it is.
I am alone at my home. My siblings are no help atm, they are asleep. My friends are asleep or busy with their own shit. I am chuging my coffee like there is no tomorrow, and there is noone here to stop me. To grab my hand. To talk some sense into me, to tell me I should eat. It's not like I don't know I should. I am angry with myself at how illogical I am right now. But my throat is constricted, my stomach is turning and I /can't/.
There is noone to distract me, laugh it off with me, hold me and tell me it's right as rain, and there is always a second term. Noone to drag me to dinner afterwards and make sure I force it down.
Noone for me to take care in return and stop spiraling, because they are my people and they need me put together. No reason to put up a fight. Only self doubt and certainty, that you are a bother and even your nearest and dearest hate you, because right now you are of no use.
This is how drowning feels like. You are under the surface in a blink of an eye and then there is just hopelessness.

turn off your adblocker and put the video on repeat. do not skip ads. let it play on loop whether you’re listening or not. mute the tab if you need to focus elsewhere. but let. it. play.

People keep thinking covid is a flu, only a cold!
People with specific diseases (fibrosis, immuno deficiency) already saw their usual doctors moved into the covid emergency, they can't access journal healthcare or hospitals.
If things go on like this, in about twenty days or less the health system will have to leave people to die because reanimation will be full.

Headaches are a very common problem. Often they are mild, short-lived, and require no treatment, but others can be life-threatening. Knowing about the causes helps guide medics’ questions, examination, and investigations to find the answer.
This is from a series of medical illustrations I’m doing where I take common symptoms and visualise as many important causes as I can. You can read more about it here (and see the others): https://artibiotics.com/blog/causes-of-headache
If you’d like to support my efforts to make medicine more accessible with art, click here: https://artibiotics.com/support
Have an awesome day!

Of course! If it is required then sure. I'm just speaking up because people in my country are so scared there are no masks in pharmacies even tho we have like...one case confirmed. I know how it looks for instance in Shanghai.
I feel like it is an important thing to say that out loud.
MASKS ARE NOT THERE TO PROTECT HEALTHY PEOPLE!
They work only if someone who is wearing them is sick. It keeps virus from spreading. It wont give you any advantage.
Meanwhile there are other people who actually need those.
Like parents of one of my mother's cancer patient, who need them to take care of their child, recieving chemo as we speak.
So if you are coughing, sneezing or having a fever go to the nearest qualified hospital and wear it on your way. But if you are healthy? Leave it be.
