As far as SkeptBroken goes... (no I don't have an obsession, don't be ridiculous)
Skeptic sort of strikes me as a little bit of the jealous type, though he's not proud of it. So when he sees Smitten and Broken getting along so well and has so much in common, he gets a little jealous.
We must enjoy more of the dramatic romance between these two disaster birbs!
(Yes! I love this! I love the thought of Skeptic getting jealous, and then getting annoyed at himself because he knows it's a dumb thing to do, because Broken loves him and he knows Smitten would never try to get between them, but the jealousy just makes Skeptic blind to it all. It's so good! Enjoy!)
Skeptic liked to think of himself as a relatively good partner.
Sure, sometimes he can be a little insensitive with his questioning, but he's learnt to soften his words when the situation called for it.
Which was mainly achieved through Broken, his partner.
Skeptic was initially drawn to Broken because of his demeanour, how he couldn't settle down like the rest of them had, and Skeptic simply wanted to help him.
But eventually, along with showing Broken that there was more to his life than the Tower, it also turned into appreciating Broken's sharp mind.
Because Broken was smart, just not in the way that Skeptic was. Broken understood emotions and behaviours much more clearly than Skeptic ever could. Broken's empathy allowed him to sympathise with the others, and understand why they were behaving in certain ways that Skeptic wouldn't even do a double take at.
Skeptic couldn't help but fall head over heels for Broken, and vowed to be a partner worthy of Broken's heart.
He makes sure to compliment Broken on his slowly healing wings. He remembers the little things that make him smile so that Skeptic could cheer him up on his gloomy days. He kissed Broken and made sure every single day, that Broken knew he was loved.
Skeptic made sure he was a perfect partner for Broken.
But sometimes, Skeptic can let some-uglier emotions take over.
He tried to use logic to battle the emotions away, to tell himself that the way he was feeling was stupid and embarrassing of Skeptic. He believed that he should be the calm and level headed one of the flock, but sometimes, he sees something that makes him want to rip his feathers out.
Like today.
Skeptic had been working all day, trying to solve issues that he believed only he could fix, right up until it felt like his head was about to explode, and he decided that a break was immediately necessary.
Most of the time, he seeks out Broken, to help him relax and forget about the rest of the world. He's usually in his room, but before he could even check, he heard his laughter.
Broken laughing was a rare thing, and it was usually too quiet and soft to catch most days, but the sound of it still sent a rush of warmth through Skeptic, and he instantly bolted in the direction of the beautiful sound.
He found himself walking towards the living room, where the laughter was getting louder, until Skeptic turned a corner, and found Broken with Smitten.
They were sitting on the couch, and Skeptic's brother was giving Broken one of his usual, charming smiles, but Skeptic couldn't help but stare at Broken's face in that moment.
His wings were relaxed, his posture was straight, and Skeptic noticed the way Broken's expression seemed-lighter. He had a small smile on his face, and his gaze looked so soft and devoid of darkness as he looked at Smitten-until he noticed Skeptic.
When Broken's attention landed on him, Skeptic had to ignore the heat rising in his face, and to remain as composed as he could when in front of Smitten, because Smitten gushes enough about how cute they were together without Skeptic's help.
"Hello brother!" Smitten excitedly said, and Skeptic smiled, but it felt forced on his face. "Hey Smitten. I was just looking for you," and he turned to face Broken, who was resting his chin on his folded arms against the back of the couch, gazing up at Skeptic with those pretty eyes that made his knees weak.
"Have you guys been talking for long?" Skeptic asked. "I'd hate to interrupt you two."
"Not at all, brother." Smitten waved him away. "Broken and I were simply talking about the things we adore in our lives."
Skeptic arched a brow. "Oh really? Well, that list could go on forever, knowing you." Skeptic couldn't stop himself from chuckling in amusement at the pout that Smitten shot him, until there was a teasing glint in Smitten's eyes, and he put all his attention on Broken then, giving him a bright smile instead.
"Maybe, but who better to talk to than our dear Broken?" The smile fell from Skeptic's face. "He understands exactly how I feel about things, and he's basically an expert on passions."
Broken smiled sheepishly at the praise, and Skeptic's hands balled into fists from behind his back.
Smitten kept going, "The two of us have hearts that are almost too big for our bodies, and it's nice to have someone who understands your feelings sometimes without having to explain it to them"
Skeptic watched in shock as Broken's feathers actually puffed up at Smitten's words, and even though he twisted his face further into his arms, his muffled response of, "Thanks, Smitten," was still clearly heard between the three of them.
Skeptic's mind froze in that moment, focusing on Broken's face and how happy he looked. It wasn't that Skeptic disagreed with Smitten, but at the same time, seeing how well the two of them got along-irked him, for some reason.
Skeptic's brother was incredibly in tune with his emotions, and was often the first one to offer a kind word to someone, or wrap them in a big hug. Smitten was possibly the second closest person to Broken, with Skeptic being first.
But for some reason, seeing how well the two of them got along made something ugly within Skeptic rear its ugly head.
The two of them were so similar and Skeptic-wasn't. Skeptic couldn't have this type of understanding with Broken, his literal partner, but his brother can?
Something about that made possessive anger stir within him, the fact that Skeptic wasn't the one to get Broken completely. Skeptic was meant to be the detective of the group, and he should be the one with the honour of knowing Broken's soul inside and out.
Skeptic sighed deeply as a way to cope with the acidic jealousy bubbling within him, and that was when he accidentally got Broken's attention, causing him to lift his head in concern. "Are you okay, Skeptic?" Broken asked softly, and that was when he snapped.
Skeptic was jealous of the fact that someone could know Broken better than he could, who could show Broken how atrocious Skeptic actually was with emotions.
He wasn't proud of it, but he couldn't help it.
"Actually yes," Skeptic blurted out, lunging forward to pick Broken up and carry him over the back of the couch, "there's something very important that I need to discuss with you."
He heard Smitten laugh in surprise, but all Skeptic could focus on was the silent confusion on Broken's face, who's body was frozen in shock and who didn't say anything until he was being placed on the floor. "Now?" he squeaked, and Skeptic nodded solemnly, grasping his hand firmly. "Yes, now."
He didn't even bother saying goodbye to Smitten, swiftly dragging Broken down the hallway, his feet guiding them to his bedroom.
He wanted to wait until they were behind closed doors to act freely, but one tug from Broken made him abruptly halt, and he felt Broken hug his arm gently. "Love, are you okay?"
Love. Broken's love. Love for Skeptic.
It belongs to him.
Skeptic blinked, and then the next thing he knew, he was picking Broken up and pinning him to a wall, hearing Broken gasp as Skeptic dug his hands into his hips.
Skeptic couldn't wait any longer, and smashed their lips together.
Skeptic practically growled into the kiss, feeling Broken wrap his legs around his waist, and Skeptic kissed the other with an aggression that he usually never kissed with.
He wanted to claim Broken. He wanted to prove that Skeptic was the only person that could make Broken feel this way, that could make Broken's heart beat this fast.
He was worried for a second that he was being too aggressive, until he heard Broken moan into the kiss, and pull Skeptic in closer, and that was when Skeptic truly lost his mind.
They kissed until their lungs burned, and it was Broken that pulled them apart, gasping and inhaling as much oxygen as he could. "Skeptic-what-" he gasped out, but it wasn't enough for Skeptic. He needed more.
"You're mine," Skeptic muttered almost angrily to the other, reaching down and attacking Broken's neck next, relishing in the way Broken clutched at him.
"W-Why-what's wrong?" Broken stammered out, and Skeptic paused for a single moment to whisper, "I need to prove that you're mine, that I'm the one who can make you feel this way, and not anybody else."
He felt Broken tense up in his grip, and the sensible part of Skeptic returned for just long enough for him to question if he was going too far with this-until Broken giggled.
Skeptic froze, then leaned back enough to give Broken a suspicious glare. "Why are you laughing?" he demanded, and Broken just covered his mouth with a hand, his feathers a mess and Skeptic's was probably just as bad.
Then, once Broken was done, there was a playfulness in his voice that Skeptic doesn't hear often. "I didn't think you were someone who got jealous."
Immediately, Skeptic looked away, sighing as he felt shame wash over him. He was ashamed of himself for getting jealous in the first place and acting out-and over his brother, no less.
Skeptic refused to meet Broken's eyes as he quietly grumbled, "I just-I saw how much more in common you have with Smitten," he sighed in frustration, "and I felt the need to-prove myself."
When he said it aloud, it sounded silly, and sure enough, when he looked up, Broken was giving him a soft and amused smile. At least he wasn't offended, which was all Skeptic was really hoping for.
He felt Broken tug him closer, so that he could press a kiss to the corner of his mouth and whisper, "That's sweet. But you know I picked you, right? You were the thing that I was talking about with Smitten."
He did, and the nasty feeling of jealousy was being ignored, in favour of the excitement coursing through him. He grinned wickedly against Broken's neck, noticing that they were right next to his room.
He tightened his grip on Broken's hips as he said, "Of course. We just need to provide some evidence of that," and then carried Broken into his room while Broken giggled.

I can't believe that instead of finishing my Moment of Clarity fanfic, I just yoinked a banter scene about how everyone thinks Skeptic is hot and made it an RPG convo Thank you to AO3's very own ASpooky for helping me format the dialogue.
Full transcript under the cut:
Voice of the Skeptic
Come on, think!
Voice of the Skeptic
Talking to her has always been a way to change her mind, and ours as well. There’s got to be something, we just haven’t figured it out yet.
Voice of the Smitten
Communication is key in every relationship.
"How is it that between a dozen parts of a mind, there’s not a single new topic?"
Voice of the Paranoid
This place is to blame! What can even inspire us?! Nowhere begets nothing!
Voice of the Broken
She is inevitable. She holds all the power. It’s up to her.
Voice of the Opportunist
No! Her power is exactly why we need to whisper in her ear! We have the true power, if only we can figure out how to manipulate her!
Voice of the Hero
What good would lying do?
Voice of the Cheated
And what will she do if she finds out? Mercy isn’t her style.
Voice of the Skeptic
Wait a moment. I can feel our heartbeat pound and our stomach lurch. Deep breaths, everyone. Panicking won’t solve this faster.
Voice of the Cheated
Neither will baseless optimism!
Voice of the Skeptic
Nor baseless negativity.
Voice of the Cheated
Ugh, fine, Dad.
Voice of the Contrarian
Aww, don’t be so sour.
Voice of the Contrarian
Daddy’s just looking out for us.
Voices of the Hero and the Skeptic
”Daddy?!”
Voices of the Smitten and the Broken
…Daddy ~
Voice of the Cold
You really are going there, huh?
Voice of the Cold
I thought we weren’t gonna mention it.
Voice of the Skeptic
Mention what, exactly?
Voice of the Stubborn
I don’t feel that, personally.
Voice of the Stubborn
But you got the energy, man. Hot recognises hot.
Voice of the Cheated
Total Daddy.
Voice of the Hunted
I’m older than you.
Voice of the Hunted
But I get where they’re coming from. Knowledge is power, and power is attractive.
Voice of the Opportunist
You’re attentive and you take interest in everything, including us.
Voice of the Opportunist
That’s flattering. Similar to the heroic one, might I add.
Voice of the Paranoid
You say ”wink” out loud, like a dork.
Voice of the Paranoid
But that gruff old detective schtick is pretty sexy.
Voice of the Hero
Sigh. Yeah, that’s true.
[Chuckle to yourself.]
Voice of the Contrarian
Come on, flirt back! It’s no fun if you just freeze up.
Voice of the Contrarian
What does Daddy think?
Voice of the Skeptic
I think half of you are being brats and half of you are insatiable hounds.
Voice of the Smitten
Awww, Daddy approves ~
Voice of the Skeptic
We needed the laugh.
[Hug yourself.]
Voices of the Broken and the Hunted
Brrr. Huff.
Voice of the Contrarian
Look at us! Peas in a pod. Chicks in a nest. We can still have fun in the dying sun!
Voice of the Contrarian
Isn’t that nice?

My favorite thing about Cinderella’s Castle is how unapologetic it is about revenge as a theme. We’ve all seen story after story about the pitfalls of revenge where characters are chastised for their anger and punished by the narrative. I love how, when asked what she truly wants Ella isn’t allowed to shy away from her feelings, no matter how ugly they might be. There’s something powerful about an eldritch god seeing someone who is actively being hurt and saying “you deserve the chance to fight for yourself and for those who have been taken from you”
