Hi, I just realised something! You know I've been posting some pirate skele-headcanons on here (at my sideblog oops-its-a-fanwork) but I currently have also opened my asks, and I was wondering how you felt about me taking some asks for the pirates as well? I currently have it listed like this

for a while, so since ur back I wanted to ask for permission! Are you comfortable with me doing things the way I am now? Or would you rather I change some things or stop taking asks about them altogether? I don’t wanna claim your darlings! (but they are very fun to write <3)

Yeah, pretty much! I'm writing and arting rn, and my requests stay open pretty much. I never really got an overwhelming amount of asks before so I'll probs keep it open.

omg kinda in response to the siren-reader post, it reminded me (somehow) of the gag in undertale where a monster 'put a line out' for some hot fishes in the river. Sooooooo which of the guys would do this, jokingly or somewhat seriously, and how would they respond to siren-reader attaching their number to their fishing line like 'heyyyy babygirl hot stuff, call me <3'

They had this awesome concept of y/n being either a doctor and a siren and I thought well why not both!

Our chaotic doctor caught the eyes of the navy at a young age due to her knowledge of ocean life, medicines, and plants. money is one hell of a motivator and with enough of it, the navy bought Emily's loyalty and had her shipped away to an academy to further refine her talents. emily was called back to her home island at the age of 20 to overlook a personal project of the local admiral.

Amethyst C. Ophelia

Amethyst was caught by the navy in her late teens to be used as a weapon against pirates. before capture she refrained from singing due to the effects it had on people around her, she kept to herself occasionally joking and playing with the youth in towns before moving on. instead of using her voice she would make use of her claws and teeth as shown in an encounter with a harpie in her earlier years.

- She adapts to the people around her to easily blend in

- Only amplifies Emilys chaos

- she likes to hang around stretch and cash, and will occasionally chat with Razz about navigation. but she feels awkward around sans because of her history with pirate captains

Backstory:

Emily's first encounter with a siren was on the opposite side of 4 inch glass, off the bat she assumed she would be researching yet another rare sea creature with low intelligence, just on the more aggressive side. That is until said siren flipped her off when she called it a fish, Emily later learned the siren's name was Amethyst and over the next few months they got closer.

Emily already wasn't a big fan of the admiral, the only reason she stayed was for the money after all, but seeing someone be treated as nothing more than an object or weapon made her realize that she needed to get out while she still could. so Emily started to plan, she would clock out of the facility, grab a set of clothes and return 2 hours later to break Amethyst out. From there they would take a roundabout way through the town and end up on a backside port where amethyst can swim them away to a neighboring island, then go from there.

but they were caught before they made it off the port. The admiral and a small squad cornered them and during the scuffle Emily's throat was slashed and Amethyst was sliced from chin to nose. With Emily bleeding out she wouldn't survive the trip so Amethyst had no choice but to comply when the admiral gave them an ultimatum, keep their lives by continuing to work for them completely isolated on an island nobody could find.

By the time Emily was conscious they were already in an old shack in the middle of nowhere. The island was surrounded on all sides by jagged rocks that prevented any boats other than the admirals from going in and out. Other than a small farm plot and a few scattered trees here and there the island was barren forcing them to rely on the supplies brought by the admiral at the end of every month. if their resorts didn't meet his standards they didn't get the supplies.

The rocky border prevented Emily from building anything to get them off the island and a shiny new tranquilizing collar kept Amethyst out of the water pushing swimming off the table. So they were trapped there for months, that is until a Ship that looked close to a narwhale crashed head first into Amethysts beloved garden.

Sans: Man can not take you seriously. Who tf made you that cute cause he wants to shake their hand. Look at you... being so rotund and yelling at him. He knows that seals can be incredibly dangerous, but also they basically look like a puppies. He's inching closer all while acting like he isn't. What do you mean he's been moving over to you everytime you look away?

Papyrus: Oh. My. Gawd. SAURRRRR CYUTE. Papyrus doesn't like to disturb the wildlife though, and you seemed angry... he'll leave you alone.

Blue: Touch... Blue is undeterred. He's a meathead and super strong. He can take a few seal bites. He'll be like a kid holding a front as he lifts your blubbery self above his head and rushes back to the ship to show everyone.

Stretch:

Red: Red will laugh whole heartedly at how angry you look and are. He wants to give you so many pets and cuddle you! Alas, he'll sit a comfortable distance away while grinning at you.

Edge: You are so cute. He is going to die. Edge leaves instantly so that he can collect himself. He'll let the rest of the crew fawn over you, and if someone ends up successfully petting you, he's next. No questions asked.

Razz: Ew... creature. Cute but also, gross. Get away pls.

Cash: C'MERE LEMME ROLL YOU. Bro is CHASING you. He wanna touch. Will back off if you start biting him. It horts :(

Bear: Cute... but that's it, he'll leave you alone.

Cinnamon: He's the one friend who wants to pet your cat so bad, but your cat needs space. He'll sit a distance away from you and slowly begin inching closer while not making eye contact. He will cry if you bite him for touching you.

It's still surprising to see people say that when they see the upcoming strike post I made that this is the first time they're hearing about it, especially because I've seen several posts now talking about the same strike.

That being said: regardless of what kind of blog you are, please spread the news about the genocide, the strikes, boycotts, etc.

Even if you are a small blog, spreading word allows for more people to know what's going on and also do their part in protests and strikes, and maybe even the right people will be able to do more than what you're able to do.

And reminder: there is an upcoming strike on February 18th-25th. Prepare accordingly, protest, boycott, call your reps, and spread the word so more people are aware.
