Headline newspaper nowadays

I was shocked while scrutinizing this headline news on my working station. An ad leaflet from Malaysia wrote: Indonesian maids now on sale!!!

This ad written by Malaysia agent of Indonesian worker  and offered 40% discount, which is listed you can rest and relax, deposit only RM 3500! Price RM 7500 nett. Me suddenly is being insulted by this news. How Indonesian maid (whom a few of my big family is working as Indonesian worker) is advertised in this negative statement.

As far as I studying labor economics, I confess that Indonesia is a labor abundance then it can be clearly seen from Central Statistics Agency total labor force per February 2012 around 120,4 million people. This number is increasing significantly from August 2011 just over 117,4 million people. And the working people around 112,8 million people per February 2012. Then the lack of employment is even getting bigger respectively. One of the most way to out from this situation is being Indonesian worker (bahasa: Tenaga Kerja Indonesia). However, the typical of Indonesian worker are low-educated and it led to decrease the competence of our worker in neighborcountry equilibrium. The winner in this equilibrium can be as high-skilled job for instance teacher, lecture, working in company. Whereas the looser are in low-skilled job as well as maid, waitress, cleaning service.

This ad should be discussed intensively for both countries even Malaysia and Indonesia. I know that Indonesia worker agent almost hundreds label, and it will hard to searching whom agent showed this information.

She: Oo ya, in your number right?

Me: Yes

My cellphone: biipp.. bipp.. you had received 25 thousands rupiah of regular token.

Me: (heading to her desk) Mbak, what I had said to you? Am I buy sms package?

She: No, you had ordered regular token..

Me: Ok, I wanna buy again for 25 thousand rupiah of sms package

She: Ok..

Me: (walking back to my working station)

My cellphone: bipp..bipp.. You have received 25 thousand rupiah of GPRS

Me: (walking to her station) Mbak, what I ordered to you?

She: Sms package

Me: *Showing my cell phone shows that M-tronik message*

She: WHATT?? Wait wait.. I'll check it.. It can be changed as long as you haven't use it

Me: (Waiting and sits beside her)

She: *calling her mom in law, and rejected for several times*

Me: Ok, No problems.. I'll pay it (cool face)

She: Are you ok? Sorry for the inconvenience

Me: 1/*+#^&G+F&- ^%B}+?

Amid hundred of work-things

Hello..

How is things beating you so far?

I confess, I haven't blogging for a couple of weeks lately. it is because of many things for instance deadlines, jobs, surveys, and so on and so on. Like FGD reports should be finished in a day, handling survey Small & Medium Enterprise should be ended in 2 weeks also the report in a day, handling surveyors, manage entry-er and soooo many things.

Amid the busiest work-things, I have to scrutinize statistics and train ielts score. However, I had bought 2 books that I haven't read yet and I have copied also downloaded books, journals that I haven't touched. POOR ME, WORSE time management :( *rolling head towards to the wall*

The year of 2012 is just a couple of months later. To sum up, I hope and pray to Lord, my resolutions in the rest of this year well-equipped. The resolutions that I had made, for me, for future and better of me. Hope everything should be expedited.

I'll try to answer as far as I know, they do that for enrich their life. Yeah, why life is different. It is inevitably that it is one of the way to upgrades life. Not only human, but animal has also, and it can be called adaptation.

Is it humans' adaptation? Why do people resist to change?
