First of all, some of these policies are awful and probably reason why people are leaving the MegaTen wiki in the first place.  (“Existing wiki is bad?  You need to work with the people who made it so bad in the first place to fix it!”)  But it looks like while Fandom won’t host a full-blown alternate MegaTen wiki, they may be open to hosting a wiki for the Persona sub-franchise?  The example they give is the main Star Wars wiki vs one for an MMO, but I’ve seen wikis with more overlap co-exist (a bunch of comic book characters have wikis of their own despite the existence of larger wikis for the greater universes.)  And sadly, an alternate fandom wiki maybe be the only thing that could defeat the old MegaTen wiki in the search results.

I wouldn’t blame you for not trusting Fandom after they deleted your first attempt at starting a new wiki without warning.  But if the coding gets to be too much or the scope of creating a wiki for the whole MegaTen franchise is too big I think it’s an option to keep in mind.

Yeah I’ve considered it. I was going to do an “Atlus” one but someone already beat me to that. TT0TT I might just start messing around with theirs tho if they don’t mind (by messing I mean going with my formatting for chars, it doesn’t look like they have chars set up tho so lskjfldjf) I was thinking of maybe doing Persona only...but I wanna expand outside that....even tho that’s mostly my experience of expertise. (screw it, I did a Persona-Universe wiki just in case. “Why ‘persona-universe’ and not just ‘persona’ aksdfjllkf hahahahahahaha because it stated to go to ‘megami tensei wiki’ >_> There’s also a P4 wiki but.....I want to do everything in relation to Persona....Not just P4....even if I’m starting with P4....IT’S NOT MY FAULT I WANNA GUSH ABOUT SOUJI! TT0TT)

I know Catherine has a wiki, even tho Catherine isn’t technically Megaten it’s still like....honorary Megaten klajfdsljf But it’s good to know they allow things that are MUCH closer to the OG wiki to exist. So thanks for the suggestion! 

Fandom was kind enough to get me my code back tho. So that was nice. So not everything went down the pooper. TT0TT 

Anyway, it’s an easy place to put down the content I want (outside of all the coding). So it’d be a good place to just.......barf the info I want to put there when I don’t have access to my own computer. 

(of course Atlus wiki mod, if you’re out there and don’t mind me going ham in the Persona sections, just give me the go-ahead 030)

Just so you know other people are trying to start a new wiki on wiki.gg.  You should probably advertise your own attempts more or consider joining up with them.  Because I really liked the organizational policies you were attempting before Fandom gave you the boot and I really hope that whatever wiki is successful going forward adopts them.

My answer: Yup I saw and signed their petition. I’m still planning on trying to get one started up with media wiki since I remember people remembering they wanted a Bulbapedia version of Megaten. I am thinking of reaching out if they want to collab, esp since I trust/recognize at least one of the admins. 

And thanks about liking my organizational policy! ^_^ It’s one of the things I’m thinking of reaching out and asking if they could adopt.

Hey oh!

Working on making a wiki. 

If anyone has any issues with the existing and on going Fandom Wiki (such as there being incorrect information) but the mods won’t let you change it. Then please submit it here (submissions and asks/anons are open to all)

I know a lot of people have had issues correcting it, as well as getting banned trying to correct the info. And I wanna keep a log of what I need to look out for when I’m updating my wiki. 

Or even if you just have some fun facts, I’m down for it all~!

(if you can source where the info is from, such as the area, time, place in game, or if it’s from a specific book. That would be helpful and I can add it to the references).
