CLOUD BOOKCASE BY CAPPELLINI

The Cloud bookshelf by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec, with hollow compartments, is an extravagant furnishing element with a pop flair and an absolutely unforgettable design. Made with rotational moulding technology, in white polyethylene, Cloud is a two-sided bookshelf that adds lightness to any ambiance, forming a configuration that can be personalised by the buyer: the modules can be interconnected as desired, using a retracting joint, to create a beehive structure.

RED AND BLUE ARMCHAIR (UPDATE 2025)

A sculptural seat with a pure and rationalist form, this chair became an authentic Manifesto for Neoplasticism, embraced by the Dutch De Stijl movement in 1917. An outlook shared by Piet Mondrian, whose objective was to seek out the essential nature of things, combined with the harmonious equivalence of colours, and the use of right-angle. Rietveld produced his first prototypes in 1918, expressing the philosophy of organising space using the same colours for similar components. He later applied this same approach to separate out constructional elements according to their function. Thus the base was black, and the seats coloured. As a consequence, the name of the piece changed, from Slat Chair to Red and Blue.

ANTONY CHAIR BY VITRA

The French designer and engineer Jean Prouvé created the Antony chair for the Cité Universitaire in Antony near Paris in the early 1950s. Ateliérs Jean Prouvé commenced production of this design after winning the competition to furnish 150 rooms in what was then the largest student residence in Europe. The robust chair, with its unique silhouette soon found its way into offices, waiting areas and living rooms.

The Hot Bertaa kettle was designed by Philippe Starck for Alessi in 1990. The kettle's body is made of brushed aluminium and the spout /handle is made of aqua blue thermo plastic.

SHIVA VASE (UPDATE 2025) BY BD BARCELONA

One of BD Barcelona's most popular designs, the Shiva vase has been in production since 1973, and has converted into BD’s sign of identity all over the world. Sottsass designed the vase when travelling to Barcelona to meet up with a beautiful Catalan woman with whom he had fallen in love.

WESTSIDE COLLECTION BY KNOLL

The "Westside" collection, a lounge chair and a sofa designed by Ettore Sottsass for Knoll International in 1982. Inspired by Viennese Biedermeier chairs, the collection features geometric shapes and plush seating. Sottsass designed the Westside collection for Knoll after leaving the Memphis Group.

STELLAR BY TACCHINI

Stellar has the appearance of a mirror buried in a cushion. Designed by Faye Toogood, Stellar reflects the materials and forms used throughout Cosmic – the studio’s collaborative collection with Tacchini. Faye Toogood’s disruptive energy takes Tacchini’s trademark upholstery and stuffs it in unexpected places. Here, the hard and shiny surface of a mirror is couched in a puffy, tactile frame.

PC PORTABLE LAMP BY HAY

Pierre Charpin’s PC Portable Lamp is a refined and portable freestanding lamp for indoor and outdoor use. Constructed in robust plastic and featuring a matte scratch- and water- resistant finish, its battery-powered design gives the freedom and flexibility to move it anywhere. The light source is hidden from view by a polycarbonate diffuser, available with both a directional and ambient lamp shade, depending on the desired use. The PC Portable Lamps are available in several mono-colour designs or a selection of playful colour combinations, making them ideal for table lighting in numerous domestic environments, as well as at cafés, restaurants, and other public areas.

AJ Table and Floor Lamp by Louis Poulsen

Arne Jacobsen designed this fixture, among many other features, for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, in 1957. The floor lamp yields a pleasant downward directed light with its white painted inner shade. Furthermore, the shade can be tilted to adjust light distribution. The AJ lamp family is considered to be the design Jacobsen is most famous for worldwide. Apart from the AJ Floor, the AJ family consisted of a table lamp too, a smaller table lamp, a wall lamp as well as a table mounted lamp that were all to be found around the SAS Royal Hotel after its inauguration in 1960. The clean distinguished shape of the AJ lamp with its immaculate light could be seen all around the hotel in copper and stainless steel. Together with the AJ Royal, the AJ lamp family was part of the overall design concept, which Jacobsen had created for the hotel. He practically designed everything himself. The parallels between the straight lines and the combination of straight and curved angles in the AJ lamp design are also visible in the geometric contours of his buildings.

Uten.Silo RE by Vitra

Uten.Silo RE is a storage system for use on the wall. Designed in 1969 by Dorothee Becker. It has containers of different shapes and sizes, metal hooks and clips, it brings order to offices, kitchens, workshops, bathrooms and children's rooms.
