8.4.14 - Dorm, college, and mehs.

Namimiss ko 'yong dating roommates ko. Dati kasi may dinner dates kami. Tipong one night, irereserve namin para sa aming lahat. Tapos, random kwentuhan, gano'n. May times pa na kapag 'di nakasama 'yong isa, itetext namin ng itetext para lang makapunta. Maging ganito din kaya kami ng roommates ko?

Hi, guys! Pasukan na naman namin. Ang haba ng bakasyon ko, 'no? Pero, meh, wala naman akong ginawa masyado. Ni hindi ko nga nagawang makapag-driving lessons kasi sobrang busy 'yong parents ko. Maski umuwi sa probinsya, 'di ko nagawa. Kaiyak. Jk, daming arte.

So, dahil umpisa na naman ng pilahan bukas, nasa dorm na ako. Yay? Not really. Kung noong mga nakaraang araw sobrang excited ako dahil:

Makakatakas na ako sa requirements ng kapatid ko.

Malalayo na ako sa mga kapitbahay naming drug addict.

Wala nang magsisisigaw dahil sa'kin. At,

Malapit na ako sa McDo, National Bookstore, Starbucks, etc.

Ngayon, hindi na. Gusto ko nang umuwi. Charot. Pero, namimiss ko na kasi talaga si mommy at daddy. Kanina nga umalis ako ng bahay nang wala si mommy para 'di na ako umiyak sa sasakyan tapos bigla ba namang tumawag kay daddy. Kainis, umiyak tuloy ako sa harap ng tatay ko. Tapos, si daddy naman, triny akong patawanin. Ang daldal kanina sa sasakyan. Dati naman, kapag byumabyahe kami, ang dinadaldal lang niya 'yong mga kailangan kong malaman sa pagddrive. Pero kanina, pati kanta sa radyo, tinatawanan. Eh, 'di lalo naman akong umiyak.

Nakonsensya ako bigla kasi nga sobrang layo nang loob ko sa kanila noong nakaraang mga buwan. Sorry naman daw kung nadepress ako ng bongga sa grades ko, 'di ba? Dagdag mo pa sa mga nakakakonsensya 'yong pinagdorm nila ako sa Katipunan kasi mas safe daw kaysa sa KNL kahit na doble 'yong bayad. 

Namiss ko din bigla 'yong dalawang bby ko. Magiging madalang na lang kasi ulit 'yong asaran namin.  Wala na din silang nanay-slash-tatay-slash-ate kapag busy na ulit sila mommy. Sino na ang gagawa ng homeworks ng bunso namin? Sino na ang magiging Math tutor ni Darren? Charot, ang drama. But, seriously, I will miss my bros. Kasi, kahit na they're always there to annoy me, nandiyan din sila to make my day. Pero, sa tingin ko, okay na din na malayo ako. Kasi, alam kong pag-uuwi ako, may matatanggap ulit akong hugs and kisses, plus, 'I miss you, ate' lines. 

Anyways, move on na tayo kasi kanina pa ako naiyak. Nakakahiya kay roommate kapag napansin niya. Haha.

By the way, 'yong roommates ko nga pala ay isang Atenista, isang student from somewhere near Katipunan -- nakalimutan ko kasi 'di ako familiar, at isang Koreana na aalis din naman sa October. Yep, wala akong roommate na taga-UP, pero may tatlo sa ibang room. Medyo 'di ko pa sila nadadaldal kasi 'yong isa sa Friday pa talaga dadating, 'yong isa alam kong 'di kami magkakaintindihan, at 'yong isa, busy kasi, siyempre, kalagitnaan na ng sem nila. Plus, graduating kaya 'di dapat iniistorbo. Pero, napansin ko na 'di totoo 'yong stereotypes tungkol sa mga Atenista. Ang bait ni ate, eh. Mas maarte pa nga ata ako sa kanya. Hehe.

So, ayon nga, third year na ako bukas, pero first year standing pa din, because ang tamad kong student noong nakaraan. Pero, ngayon, dorm-school-org activities na lang muna ako. I have to pass Math 55 and CS 12 this sem para 'di ako matanggal sa department at sa college namin. At, para naman mag-second year standing na ako, 'no. Although, I might leave the country even before second sem happens.

Yep. I might leave the country, soon. Ang priority date kasi namin ay March 2004, and according to travel.state.gov, the embassy will be processing papers with October 2003 priority dates this month. But, who knows? Malay mo, 'di na naman umusad 'yon sa dami ng mga ipr-process na naman nila. But this is actually why I'm trying to interact more with my friends lately. Hindi pa naman sure, but still, I have to make the most out of my 2014 para wala akong pagsisihan kapag bigla na lang dumating yong araw ng flight namin, which is more or less than 5 months from now. 

So, it's 1:55 AM and I need to sleep, because I still have to go to our department tomorrow. Hindi pa ako pwedeng mag-enlist ng subjects, but I have to be there for my readmission. And, tambay na din. Kailangan naming magtipid ng kuryente sa dorm, so I can't stay here forever. Plus, I miss my orgs, too. Pagplaplanuhan ko na din kung anong mga pipilahan ko sa Tuesday, because I have to enlist 5 more subjects (and a PE, maybe?) to have 18 units. 

Actually, 'di ko alam kung ba't pa ako nag-aaral ngayong sem. Uulit din naman ako ng isang taon sa high school, 'di ba? Haha, jk. I have to do this for my mom and dad. Ang mahal na nga ng tuition ko, 'di pa ako magtitino, 'di ba? Plus, for myself na rin. I've been running away for so long. I'm eighteen, even though people think that I'm sixteen, and turning nineteen in few months, so I really have to be responsible, y'know.

TL;DR? Ayos lang naman kahit 'di niyo basahin lahat. I actually posted this for my bff and our barkada. Balita ko kasi he still checks my blog kapag may oras siya. Hahaha. Pero, kung binasa niyo, thank you, sobra. Love you, guys.

She's Dating The Gangster.

Warning: Kung 'di mo pa napapanood 'yong movie, don't read this. Plus, this isn't a review. Puro kadramahan at kaartehan ko lang mababasa niyo, so yep.

So, it all started with...

Me: Tatlo pong She's Dating the Gangster. Theater Attendant: May kasama pong matanda dito? Me: Uh, yea... 

Well, SDTG is a PG-13 movie, and I'm actually a young adult, so I really don't understand why she asked that. Baka dahil mukha pa akong bata. Hahaha, joke. 

Honestly, I really waited for that movie. Not until they announced that KathNiel will be the lead stars. Yep, sorry to all the fans of KathNiel out there, pero kasi lagi na lang sila. Pero, sabi nga ng orgmate ko, "Wala sa gaganap 'yan. Nasa movie/story 'yan." So, yep, I ended up watching the movie with my mom and my tita last Thursday. Plus, I really really love the story. I don't have the copy of the original book, but I do have the PDF copy. 'Yong may specific colors per character pa. 

Aw, remembering CC days. *sobs*

Anyways, dumating kami ng maaga sa sinehan. Mahirap na. A lot of people wanted to watch that movie, and I don't want to end up sitting far away from my mom and my tita. So, habang naghihintay kaming lumabas 'yong mga tao bago kami, may napansin akong lolo na parang naghihintay din sa labas. Akala ko nga manonood din ng movie. I even thought, "Wow. Looks like KathNiel is really famous. Even the lolos and lolas love them." Pero, noong naglalabasan na 'yong mga tao, nakita kong umalis sila ng isang lola na nanood ng movie. Aw, sweet. Pero, marami talagang nanood na matatanda. Even our line was filled with adults aged 50-70. And, I really found it amazing. Haha.

So, the movie. The movie was good, actually. There were a lot of differences, between the movie and the book, but who would even care to watch the movie if it was entirely similar, right? One of the differences was the time of which the stories took place.  Although, I think the movie's was better, because it was more realistic. And, well, the ending was different, there were no Kelay and Kenneth in the original story, and some of the parts I've been waiting to see were not in the movie. I was really frustrated, pero paano mo nga naman ilalagay ang isang napakahabang novel sa isang one hour and fourty-five minute movie? Medyo imposible. Pero, hinintay ko kasi talaga 'yong nag-aaway ng bonggang-bongga si Kenji at Athena kasi nakipagbreak si Athena dahil sa sakit niya at ang ginamit niyang dahilan si Lucas. Tapos 'yong part na sinabi ni Kenji, "Pwedeng magkaroon ng ulcer ang lahat ng tao.. Athena kelangan ako ni Bee.." 'Yan kasi 'yong mga heartbreaking na scene, eh. 

Pero, hindi naman talaga 'yan 'yon nakakainis. Ang nakakainis ay 'yong mga taong parang alam nila lahat ng nangyayari sa movie na everytime na may lalabas na bagong character, "Oh, that's Lucas.", "Ah, si Abigail.", "You remember Grace? That's her." I mean, c'mon, guys! Shut th fck up! We're trying to enjoy a movie and you're ruining it. Just so you know, most of the people inside that movie theater knows how the story went. You're not the only one, okay? Ugh. Dagdag mo pa 'yong mga tili ng tili. Okay, I know na nakakakilig at talagang maraming titili, pero, sorry kasi nasanay ako na kapag nanonood ako ng movie tahimik lang, bawal maingay. Maliban na lang kung horror or suspense, siyempre mapapasigaw ka talaga. Sige, pagbibigyan ko na 'yong sabay sabay titili 'yong mga tao dahil nakakakilig naman talaga 'yong scene. Pero, 'yong kada minuto may titili? Ugh. Sorry, pero 'di kasi talaga ako sanay sa gano'ng environment kapag nanonood ng movie sa sinehan.

Anyways, uulitin ko, maganda 'yong movie kaya kung 'di niyo pa napapanood, go na! Don't judge the movie by its cast ika nga. Well, KathNiel actually did a great job in portraying the characters. Hindi lang talaga siguro ako fan ng love team na 'yon. But, yea, awesome rom-com movie. Corny daw sabi nila, pero for sure kinilig din 'yong mga nanood niyan. I really recommend that you guys watch it.

Again, sorry kung may spoilers. Sorry sa KathNiel fans. Sorry sa spoilers, pero nagbigay na ako ng warning, eh. Sorry sa mga nasaktan sa sinabi ko, pero 'di ko babawiin 'yong mga sinabi ko, because those are my opinions, not yours. So, stay awzm!

Day 6858.

This was posted on my other blog the other day, July 25. I'm reposting it here, because I deactivated that account, and I really want to keep this thing, so yep.

This was meant to be posted last night, but my tab was dead on our way home and I was really sleepy, so I was’t able to write anything. Anyways, I kinda think yesterday's events are blog-worthy (or not), so I'm still writing about it.

So, my brother was in a cooking competition yesterday, and because I am his stage ‘ate’, and my parents are too busy to deal with this kind of stuff, my mom asked me to watch him do his thing, before going to UP. Unfortunately, when I asked the guard if I could stay and cheer for my brother, she informed me that the event was not for any parent or guardian to see, which led me to going to UP an hour and thirty minutes earlier than planned.

I arrived in the Eng’g’s admin’s office around 10 am only to find out that my readmission slip(?) was still with the college dean, which means I still have to go back today or next monday. But, because I didn’t want my two hours of commuting to go to waste, I just went Katipunan to look for a new place to stay for this acad year.

I actually thought of going to Dormitoryana and Athena’s only, because, so far, these are two of the cheapest (although 4k-6k rates are still pricey for me) dorms for female students around Katipunan which has good locations, one was close to Rustan’s, and the other was a walk away from McDo. I was able to go to the first one, but got lost in looking for the latter, so I just roamed around Katipunan until I got tired.

I left QC around 12nn and arrived in Park Square at 1 pm and waited for other Bicutan/Russia commuters to arrive. We left Ayala after an hour and thirty minutes of waiting, and arrived in SM Bicutan after an hour.

I met my mom and my tita in front of McDo, because we were planning to watch SDTG today, but my mom's uncle is arriving in few hours, so they decided to see it yesterday, instead. Plus, and my dad and my youngest brother, Denzel, wanted to watch Hercules. My dad eventually told us to see the movies in MoA, instead, because we were using my mom's uncle's car and we had to bring it back in his place somewhere near that mall.

When we arrived at the ticket booth, we found out that Hercules was a rated-R13 movie, which means Denzel cannot watch it, even though my dad is with him. My brother was a little disappointed, but he decided to watch Dawn of the Planet of Apes in 3D, instead. Of course, we couldn't bring them with us, because my dad wouldn't want to watch that rom-com movie. On the other hand, we, girls, were able to watch SDTG (will post a separate entry about this later), yay! Too bad we couldn’t take my other brother, Darren, with us, because he was still in school the moment we arrived in MoA and he’s got loads of assignments every day, so weekdays are never meant to be rest days for him. But, being the sweetest ‘ate’ ever, I promised to watch a movie on Saturday with him. I hope he wants to watch Step Up: All In as well, because I badly want to see that movie.
