Semi-Hiatus???

(So I went quiet again and I’m sorry. But I also may end up being quiet for longer still. Without a job and no insurance I can’t afford my medicine and I’ve run out. Not normally a big deal I guess? But the side effects of not taking the medicine have me really fucked up (dizziness, insomnia, out of control emotions and sensory issues (more then I already have) so I get very, very overwhelmed stupid fast. More so then usual. And until I can figure out how to get my medicine, I am going to have to severely limit myself on how much interactions and all that I do. So. Yes. Sorry. there’s always my personal, i guess.)

    if you play ANY sort of villainous character - from a pick-pocket to a full-scale serial killer - and i follow you, please know that i’ve come into this FULL WELL what i’m signing up for. i don’t expect you to soften your character for me, i’m not going to complain when they aren’t nice to my characters, and i honestly probably love watching them do what they do. not all characters are going to be the “good guys”, or the type of villain that can be redeemed. not everyone has a tragic backstory that makes them do the things they do - some people enjoy it, others just do it because they can, and for some it’s all they know. yes, there are villains with a soft spot or two - this doesn’t mean they need to change everything. our characters become friends/lovers even though my character is a “good guy”? you keep doin’ you. keep stealing those purses, killing those people, burning those villages to the ground. 

        tl;dr - I DIDN’T FOLLOW YOU BECAUSE I WANTED SOMETHING SOFT AND EASY - you keep bein’ a villain, babe, cause you’re  just as excellent as the heroes.

You look a lot like Aoko’s friend, you wouldn’t happen to do magic too?” He looks like… hmmm, Aoko can’t put her finger on it, but Kaa-san may have showed her something with him in it before? He looks a little different… ( Maybe the glasses…? ) …Whoever he was, if he was related to Kaa-san, she needed to be careful.

At the sound of a voice that seemed to be talking to him, Shinichi had turned to see who it was and, for a moment, he froze. He wasn’t even paying attention to the fact she had called him something, someone, else. He was fearful he’d been caught, especially as a very quiet and anxious “Ran?” left his mouth.  And then his brain caught up with her words and he smiled some, hoping it didn’t look as relieved as he felt.  “Ah, no. I can’t say that I do.” His tone was apologetic even as he found himself wondering who this Kaito was. “My name is Kubo, which does start with a K so I guess that’s close enough!” he laughed.

Retreating into his own hazy thoughts, he’s only startled into alertness when the other returns, giving them a questioning look.

Shinichi actually was a fairly nice person, once he actually opened up to people. And though he and KID had a fairly decent rapport Shinichi wasn’t often open to him. Perhaps this would be a way for KID to find out more about the detective who often chased after him and made his life a little bit more difficult.  Said detective, however, was doing his best to keep his curiosity to himself. They’d never been in such an intimate situation like this and it was hard to keep the rules of the game in check. But at least he knew better then to take advantage of the situation. Returning back to the room, a fresh glass of water in hand, Shinichi made his way back to the bed to hand it to the sick magician thief. The bottle of medication was also held out to him, a (hopefully) comforting smile on his face. “Here you go, KID. Is there anything else you need?” Maybe some food? Not that he had much, but at least he had some soup left over he could offer the thief.

WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE KINDS OF THREADS?: Fluff and angst tbh. ACTUALLY I really love making Shinichi suffer and be a ball of guilt for the end of days. And maybe making Kaitos suffer by making Shinichi suffer

ARE YOU A SELECTIVE ROLEPLAYER?  I try not to be? But at the same time I really am trying to be only because I can get overwhelmed very easily. And that feeds into my anxiety and then I spend a lot more time away from my muse until I can justify coming back but it never works. SO. 

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE MUSE? As much as I love my guilt ridden son... I have to say @peu-clairdelune-dechat has to be my favourite. She’s probably been my longest running muse and now that I finally have a working version of her I just. I love her so much.  Even if she keeps hurting me with angst ideas.

WHAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO JOIN THE FANDOM?  Because Shinichi is one of my favourite canon muses that I’ve ever had and I wanted to try him in a social setting. Plus the Sailor Moon fandom was very clique-ish and very hard to stay in? I took a risk with Shinichi and I am so glad I did. Because every one I’ve come across in the DCMK fandom has been very friendly and accepting! Everyone is always on board with making sure I take care of myself first and always welcome me back even when I’m gone for months at a time. ;; You guys really are family and I love you guys so much.

DO YOU SEE YOURSELF STAYING WITH THE FANDOM FOR A LONG TIME?  Provided muses and my anxiety allow, yes. Because it’s so hard to leave so many loving and caring people. And ya’ll are masters of breaking my heart <3 AND THOUGH SHE DOESN’T GET A LOT OF ACTION, YOU GUYS HAVE BEEN MUCH MORE ACCEPTING OF MY DUMB CAT OC THEN THE SAILOR MOON FANDOM WAS OF MY OWN SENSHI OC. …Which meant it was nearby, but, still a little close for comfort. It should be fine… “If you follow me, we can get there pretty soon. I always scout the areas that I hold heists at, there’s a nice place nearby.” Ahaha yes he is a genius at excuses. What do you mean the reason he knows of it is because of Keiko and Aoko. 

“Of course, silly me.” A deadpan look to the back of his head. “I should know better then to ask what it is you are up to.”  He’s quick to follow after him though, even put himself at his side just a bit as they walk. This... was admittedly kind of nice. Going some where with KID. Probably the first time in awhile he’s done something on his birthday. And enjoyed it.  “Of course. A good thief must know all the good places to get away from the police after all.”

More important than his birthday? …That left a weird feeling in his mouth, despite not being the one to say it. It…wasn’t a good feeling. It’s one thing to go to his heists on his birthday, another entirely if he was saying someone’s show’s were more important than… With a snap of his fingers, changes his outfit.  “…We’re going out.”  

“C’mon, I’m stealing you for your birthday. I trust you have no objections? If my heists are more important…” Says with perhaps an ounce of tartness. “…Then think of it as another heist.” 

There was a surprised blink as KID changed outfits, declaring they were going out. There was a bit of a change in his demeanor, not much of one but there was a subtle change in the air.  “Ah. I mean, I guess I don’t?” It didn’t sound like KID was giving him much option either way. And what was with the tartness in his tone? “Where did you have in mind?”

“... Is that today?” A puzzled look as he thought about it. It definitely wasn’t marked on a calendar... “Ah... I guess that is today.” To be fair, he had a hard time remembering important dates. And a harder time remembering unimportant dates.  His birthday was always classified as unimportant to him, though Ran usually forced him to celebrate. She always chided him for never remembering.  “Your heists are more important,” he shrugged, not even bothering to answer if he wanted cake or coffee. Though the other should know his preference is coffee to cake, he never does anything for his birthday on his own o why start now?
