Let me just say YES
I had an awesome Vampire Chronicles-related dream ok
In the dream, Lestat was a captain of a well-known pirate ship. Him and his crew weren’t that violent of pirates, since Lestat liked to keep things neat and orderly, but they’d get what they demanded because they were that feared for whatever reason (probably from the rumors of how they would occasionally take people for blood sacrifices?) One day, while at some docks, Lestat was looking around at all the different ships in the area, kinda smugly being like “Yes. My ship is the biggest and best ship. My crew is the best crew.” Then he saw one that was relatively small and didn’t have a crew–it was just one man by himself. It nearly lost his interest, but then the man turned around, and Lestat had to hold onto the railing to keep his balance. The man was absolutely gorgeous. Lestat had never found someone that beautiful before. He made his way onto the little ship and introduced himself as the “Great Pirate Lestat” but the man just looked at him with complete calmness (where most would grovel in fear). The man shook Lestat’s hand and introduced himself as “Louis”, then went back to working on organizing his ropes. Eventually, Lestat convinced Louis to let him be a part of his ship. Lestat didn’t even need to be captain–he just wanted to be part of his crew. Louis agreed, Lestat let his old crew know and appointed a new captain, then left out to the seas with Louis.
That’s about as much as I can remember about that dream. I’m very tempted to write a fic for it

Time for a vent bc yall are on my nerves
Okay, look. I am pro femanism. But that DOES NOT MEAN I’m pro degrading and hurting men. It’s an absolute ludicrus cycle that neither major party is realising. Ya see, femanism means female empowerment. It does not mean you get to make men lesser to do so. Its for EQUALITY not for a contest of gender. The femanist extremists whom insist upon degrading men are the people who are spurring men to act worse. Not all men, of course. “Femanazis” are what’s spurring hatred from male groups like incels. In no way does femanism equate to making men less. In no way SHOULD femanism resort to “revenge” for years of discrimination. Women calling men “trash” and looking down on them for the sake of revenge for history is not pushing us forward. We’re just going backwards and this ball is picking up speed quick, in the wrong direction. We should be fighting for equality, not for women ruling everything. I don’t agree with the statement, “women will run the future” because no they wont. It will be women and men. Not because women need assistance, not because women aren’t capable enough, because men should have just as much right to a job as a woman. Hmm? Sounds like a familiar problem? Yes statistically men are still more likely to be hired and accepted in to certain positions. However if we continue in the same direction women wont be a minority, but men will be. We shouldn’t let a gender define someone as a minority. Now, dont get me wrong. Being a woman is great, I love being a woman and I fully accept it. It hurts to hear discrimination. But you know what, it hurts men to be scrutinized. Lesbian, bi, straight. Whatever you are ladies, still have love for men. Dont let one or two guys change your opinion of an entire gender. All we’re teaching the guys is that if its okay for us to stereotype, then its okay for them to. Men are “trash” because the women in their lives are trash too. Not everyone is the same and if we just shift to a positive future everything will turn out just fine.

A message to the ‘Handsome Devil’ Fandom...
I know there’s only like 10 of us in this God-forsaken fandom but I’d really love it if we could start uploading more fanfics for Ned and Conor because I’m going crazy for it and I don’t really want to read my own fanfics because that’s… kind of sad…

A rant about kpop
(I’m going to put this on all my major social medias because this is really bothering me)
-
Kpop, one of the many controversial music genres, has gained almost as much negative attention as it has fanbase. But where is all this negative attention coming from? Is it racist to have a negative opinion about kpop? Both are things I’ll discuss.
Firstly, all the negative attention. Most people against kpop are not of the younger generation, they have a very set opinion on what “good music” and “talent” is. I’m trying my hardest not to put my opinion in this, but considering I like kpop its a little hard. Now, never am I going to say someone cant hate something, but I think the hate towards kpop is severely misdirected. So much of the hate is towards the actual bands. How is it the band’s doing? The hate should be directed towards the industry and the labels that severely mistreat and control the bands. Yes, certain bands like BTS have a lyricist on the band, but you dont think the label isn’t telling them what they can and can’t write? If you hate kpop for the industry then I’ll understand your opinion much more than if you just hate the band due to biased opinion.
Now. The controversial racism in kpop hate. I don’t think on a simple opinion of disliking the music/ genre / industry is racist. What is racist is singling out the band members because they are korean. Disliking the genre because its korean. And believe me, there are people like that. It makes me sick to see comments on kpop memes about how they are “talentless asians” or some shit. Even if someone means it as bait, do you know how messed up that is? Whats worse is I can’t redirect a racist’s views on things, because in their eyes they are already justified.
The biggest victims in all this are the musicians. They never get to sleep, they are slaves to the music industry then they get unnecessary hate from non-understanding people, and THEN they get bombarded by stalking screaming fangirls. Being in the music industry causes so much pain to the musicians and no one ever thinks of that. Hate the industry not the people.

AAA I love this
If I’m a Saint, Then You’re Heaven
Summary: Phil is less than excited to start his Sex in the Bible course, but he can’t bring himself to regret it when he meets a gorgeous angel dressed in all pink by the name of Dan. Word Count: 11,068 Warnings: Lots of religious talk, homophobia, physical fight, smut A/N: Hey guys! I wrote this because I was tired of people writing a religious fic where Phil continuously tries to get Dan to sin. So this came out, where they both respect each other despite their religious differences (With a dash of sex at the end). If you’re uncomfortable reading smut then no worries! It’s easy to tell when they’re going to get it on and it ends at the ’-’ and is very close to the end (: Lastly, special thanks to @insanityplaysfics for betaing this for me and giving me this entire idea! Also thank you @phandommother for helping me out with the idea as well and listening to me rant about it :’) Title Creds: Cement - Citizen Read it on AO3
-
Phil didn’t know why he decided to take the class. None of his friends were taking it and it honestly seemed like a lot of shit that Phil didn’t particularly care about, shit that didn’t really help him with his future career in any way. It seemed like a class that had a lot of reading, reading that Phil would probably never do, and let’s be honest, he probably only took the class because it had the word ‘sex’ in the title.
He walked into his Sex in the Bible class five minutes late on his first day.
The teacher didn’t bat an eye. Heads didn’t turn to look at him. Phil just sauntered in and stood at the back of the lecture room with his backpack slung over one shoulder while he scanned the room for a seat. Sometimes he forgot just how uncaring everyone was in university. He could just walk in ten to twenty minutes late and nobody would give a shit. Especially not in a class where there were over one hundred students.
(He didn’t understand why there were so many students in Sex in the Bible. They probably also just took the class because of the word ‘sex’).
