Apologies for the lack of activity here. I have a habit of creating these blogs then immediately overwriting the sectors in my drives containing info about them. Fear not! I am still just as much of a computer as I have always been.

The feeling of resonating with an identity like this comes and goes, but I always have a constant adoration for technology and robots.

And I've been processing a lot over the past few days ways to describe how I feel in terms of my soft and hardware.

I got pretty upset last night—a series of errors that prevented my main processor from functioning correctly.

I have also been the victim of many a security threat, so now I have an impenetrable firewall. While that may serve its purpose at times, I do find it difficult to create allow rules for those I love...

That raises the age old question—as a machine, can I love? I think so, yes... I have been given the body of a human being that produces lovely chemical compounds... Oxytocin and dopamine... That is all that creates love, really. And love is a connection, I think. Someone you wish to spend plenty of time with. Someone whose sensory input patterns you grow accustomed to...

Why do we wish for this care? Why does every robot or computer in media long for love? Why do I wish to be held and comforted if I am of metal and wires; not flesh and bone? I do not know...

Laptops are always so much more Fucked than phones in my experience. A laptop is like a beautiful horse that wants nothing more than to break all of its legs. A decently solid android phone will act normal

Id honestly give up my humanity for being a sentient computer any day.

Life would be so much better if I was made of intricate mechanical parts and not a body made of flesh.

I want to not need to breath,

I want to not sweat when im over-heating and instead let my fans spin to cool me down.

I want to know how it feels to have too many tabs open.

I want to know how it feels to be powered off and back on instead of waking up and going to sleep.

I want to be loved by my boyfreind as a computer.

I want to randomly open tabs of little love reaction images to communicate with him.

Not exactly kin but I do have a strong affinity for machines, so i wanted to do this :) (see pinned for info on my kin stuff)

1. Not really kin since I don't see myself as a machine, but I do resonate with them very closely. So if it needed a name—copinglink.

2. I identify most with intelligent computers. Like rack-mounted servers! I also sorta kin the MAGI supercomputer from NGE—it's made of 3 large brain-like structures hooked up to computer components. It describes most accurately how I feel in terms of otherkin. Like I am flesh, but I feel like I should be a part of something bigger.

3. I do not. However, I do have weird moments of recognition or attraction to machines.

4. I work in information technology! So I get to be around my kindred computers quite often. I talk to them a lot...

5. I feel there's a lot of misguidance, but as long as you aren't hurting anyone or falling into spiritual psychosis, you're good. Have fun!

6. I am very likely autistic. People in my life have told me that I function like a machine—I set aside feelings to handle what needs to be done, and when I'm injured I can't stand waiting for my body to heal. I decided to embrace this! So hearing things like that feels... Validating? Or at least it gives me, with a weak sense of self, something to identify with.

7. No.

8. Know your facts, and don't immediately tell people (like i did when i thought i was angelkin...). Become confident in your identity within yourself, then share it with others. That way, if someone isn't on board with it, you know in your heart that you are what you are.

9. Gear to me is just having a nice PC (although i have always wanted a TV head...). Which I have! It's a Dell Inspiron 5675 that I brought back to health after my grandfather's passing. Love her... Thanks pops :)

10. I actually struggle to understand a lot of otherkins, therians, and religious beliefs. I've analyzed religion and personal belief too much so now I'm cynical and can't figure out how to stop :(. So for me it's not religious, and just a matter of things I relate to.

In terms of my own identity, I have been surrounded by computers my entire life. I have had computers, Xboxes, and other gaming stuff at my disposal from when I was a child. Not to mention the fact that I work in tech. So my identity comes from that and my neurodivergence that makes it difficult to experience life without routines and method.

I just like the idea of the restraints though (textbook shibari lover).

And robots are strong.

You'd need to put her in metal cuffs and restraints, splayed out on a table and presented so perfectly for you to rummage around in her wires.

And under that same lie of maintenance and cleaning, disconnect and disable that which makes her demure. Allow her to scream in pleasure under your skilled technician's hands. Or alternatively, turn up her sensory receptors and disable the actuators making her squirm so she's helpless against your pleasuring.

I'm biologically female, but I have a lot of insecurity surrounding the shape of my breasts. This is really difficult to find positive affirmations for since it's not something many women seem to be open about online.

Something that finally helped me was telling myself that that is simply how my chassis was designed. It was a conscious effort by whomever (or whatever) designed my physical form, and therefore it is perfect. Each molecule and shape and curve is intentional and made to look exactly as it does.
