TSOS occult lore: merfolk

This lore is created for my own story The Serenade Of Shadows.

Dante Venzor's (future) research on merpeople, also called merfolk. Sims are more common with the term mermaid or merman due to stories and tale. Merfolk however prefer to be called Mer, like Sims call themselves Sim.

(In my posepacks I use the term mermaid for searchability).

Hi welcome! I have been creating a fantasy story and decided to share it on Tumblr as a back up. The story means a lot to me and the prequel came to life to experiment with visual storytelling, since I saw it as a potential new (long-term) hobby and didn't want to quit in the middle of the story if it wasn't for me. After almost an year I can say I am sticking around and can't wait to delve into the main story!

Because the prequel is with merfolk and there weren't many poses, I learned how to make my own and how to pose them in an easier way. I share my poses on my other blog: @theserenadeofshadows .

The Serenade of Shadows is a (dark) fantasy story. It will show the darker elements and the less whimsical side of fantasy too.

"As there is light, so are there shadows. I will sing both their tunes" - Melissa, the admin and writer of this story.

It is important to know that the story is not intended for younger audiences as it will have mature themes. I do not approve or stimulate certain behaviors. Read at your own risk.

This is a fictional story, which means that the characters do not exist in real life. Since the story visuals are created by me it counts as art (for the guidelines).
