This is void Temmy not much is known about them other than the fact that they started being spotted after an unfortunate loss in the tem village. And that they take the form of a young tem Very skittish, though has been befriended by papyrus if around a monster for too long, they can start to look like them. I will be throwing this one into many adventures throughout the Multiverse mainly because of how cute they are.

Torial’s roll during main story
2/?
Unlike in the original game, you do not meet her in the ruins you will meet her on your way to Snowden town as she lives in a small cabin tucked away in a grotto. after exiting the ruins you will wander down a similar path to the original games, but instead of meeting sans you will instead meet Tori. The initiation of her interactions will be caused by the player, getting startled and nearly falling off a cliff . (This you will later learn whas flowy’s doing) she hears you and runs to your aid when she pulls you all the way up she realizes what you are. You can notice her demeanor, slightly change from that of a worried mother to one of a slightly more suspicious/weary individual. Before the interaction can lead to anything else the sound of another in distress causes her to quickly run away.
You will not encounter her until stumbling across her home this will be accomplished by having me path blocked by some particularly thick snow while trying to find a way around it you find a a mailbox and an arrow pointing into the grotto when reading the mailbox, it will display the text ( Torial’s home) heading up into the grotto will reveal a small loog cabin.
Knocking on the door will lead to a familiar voice calling out saying that they’ll be there in a s econd once they open the door, they’ll be hit with a wave of shock, realizing almost immediately, you’re the human that they ran into earlier in the day still wary of you but concerned of how thin your clothes are for how cold it is, she will reluctantly bring you inside.
once inside she tells you to stay by the fire and starts to look and see if she has anything warm in your size. She will come back a few moments later with a small fluffy jacket. This jacket is also a piece of armor. checking its stats reads (a thick and soft jacket that smells of firewood. Is to big for you) (defense +5 speed-2) she will ask why you decided to visit her home you will tell her it is because the path was blocked and you wanted to see if you could find a way around.
at this point there is a shift depending on the route that you have taken, if this is a neutral or pacifist route the following description will happen
She’ll take a moment to think before, nodding to herself, and stating that she remembers some of the teens practicing their magic out there. she’ll take a moment to think before stating that she will go out and help you clear the path, though you can tell her she still doesn’t fully like you Not really understanding why you’ll start to head out the door. she will not let you leave until you wear the jacket. If you refuse to wear the jacket twice, she will engage in a fight mainly because this is how she has to get the teens in the area to realize that she’s serious.
The fight looks very similar to her fight in Undertale. tho the main two differences is she’s not as soft with her tone and wild fights. Don’t need a rhythm to be able to be completed. If you can find the rhythm in the pattern you will never be hit as all battles will have an underlying rhythm. (If I ever get the chance to attempt animation I’d love to make one of the fights! I’d also love to get better at pixel art to make sprites) depending on if you spar her or kill her during the fight it will go into a different path detailed in pacifist or neutral
If she’s killed — you can head back to the baracade only to find nothing has changed tho if you interact with the snow you will get the text (it doesn’t seem as solid as earlier maybe that house has a shovel) so if you go back to the house and explore you can find a shovel in one of the cuberd’s if you continue to look around you can find a slice of cornbread and a cornbread muffin. Then you bring the shovel back to the snow mound and can clear it tho the shovel will get stuck so you have to leave it behind. (pacifist and neutral will be the same after you leave the shovel behind)
After you spar Tori she will say (I have forgotten the strength of you humans, tho I can’t help but remember an old friend) then turn to leave before turning to ask if your coming with her. Continue’s same as a pacifist run
As both of you start to head down the path back to where the mound of snow sits you’ll hear her talk about how she deeply loves all of the kids in the area. She just wishes that they would think about how their actions have consequences for others not just themselves once you get to the blockade, she’ll hand you a shovel and she’ll start using her fire magic. once the snow is cleared. You realize that she doesn’t really look at you with the hate that she did just mirror moments ago. her feature soften, and her voice softens a little bit as well. she thinks you for the help before handing you a piece of cornbread and a couple (2) cornbread muffins as a thank you. The check description of this slice of cornbread is similar to the slice of butterscotch cinnamon pie in the regular game. tho the muffins read (a soft but hearty treat best enjoyed hot with butter heals 25HP)
Genocide— after you leave the runes you will encounter torial at the same spot as in the other too routes tho she was awaiting your arrival. The battle starts silently and little is said during it tho it doesn’t last for long as one nice stick to the abdomen ends the fight as quickly as it started.

I’m going to split this into multiple posts as to not have way to much text on one post
This will focus on why I chose the aspects I did. And some aspects of her personality and lifestyle and the second will focus on how she interacts with the story/plot!

This is melodytale’s Toriel!
Clothing— I wanted something that had more of a flow to it. as the style of lyer I chose originated in Greece! and I wanted something to represent that tho still have parts exposed as I.. well I don’t know why but she was given the personality of a southern mother that still has some sass in her being. All I know is I’m not changing that. She also needed something different as she lives in Snowden forest. The symbol on her back is the top portion of the deltarune. this is to give reference to the fact she abandoned her people but still holds her morals as that believe the top portion is the savior of the kingdom and the triangles are the people of the kingdom. Tho interpretation is up to you as I can see it working in many different ways as the original meaning was lost to time.
Physical appearance— as this isnt a species swap she is still a goat. tho I feel changing her paws to hooves helps convey that better. her markings are in reference to how burn scars can look, as I don’t think she’d take to her magic right away. They are just markings tho as she gains them when she isn’t confident in her magic.
The harts on her paws are stylized paw pads tho the color’s are significant as they do represent the soul traits of perseverance (left) and kindness (right) this is because or the barear. As they set it up all monsters are charged with human magic leading to a fonomana waer a monster has a trait so strong they get stained with that color. it can happen a couple different ways at first tho the mark will eventually form into a hart somewhere on the monsters body! these marks will never be able to be covered as if cloth is placed over for a small amount of time it will start to stain the cloth.

Sound point— Toriel’s sound coms from the strings on her head/horns. An incident happened that caused her to need to get a prosthetic which is why she has a pole drilled into her horns. This is also the reason that she isn’t recognized as the dead queen as sound is the main way that you’d identify someone.
the circle on he four head is just a marking there to represent the space a lyer would normally have cutout
Personality— as stated in the beginning she has the personality of a southern mother that still has some sass in her being. This is mostly because of where she lives as she tends to Rangel the teens in the forest. mostly keeping them out of trouble and making sure they’re fed with her favorite dish to make cornbread!
Why cornbread well she found a recipe card in waterfall and decided to try it and loved it. The monsters of Snowden love it to as many will wander out to her home to perches some.
She will recognize you as human instantly. Tho she will not try to protect you from being taken as she dose agree with the killing of humans to keep the barrier from falling. Tho she doesn’t agree with the methods implemented. as she believes no human should suffer it should be quick and nearly painless.

This will be 1/2 posts on this subject.
Had som questions on how the monsters anatomy works so here we are!
This post is only focusing on physical attributes I will post part two where we talk about their souls and more of the magical side of their anatomy’s. there will be one example of what I’m talking about at the bottom of this more examples will be coming. I just found free time today.  i’ll post more examples with not as much text probably over the weekend as the only reason I have free time today was it was my birthday and I WILL make free time on my birthday
1. Monsters are born with thayer instrument already apart of their anatomy.
2. Monsters can have multiple instruments. There are two rules associated with this, 1 no monster will have more than two instruments as we don’t want the designs to be too heavily instrument related. And 2 if a monster has multiple instruments, they have to be of the same instrument family i.e. if a monster has a clarinet as the first instrument, they have to have a woodwind if a second one is desired for the design percussion is the only one where this gets weird as they need to be played similarly to one another. if an instrument doesn’t have an exact family that it fits into it needs to at least be played similarly. 
3. If an instrument is made of metal, the monsters body will react similarly to metal. What does this mean? This means that any bumps or scrapes will behave similarly to if you dent or scratch an instrument these injuries will never go away.if the mane instrument is not metal they’re anatomy will be normal. other than the sound points.
4. sound points
Sound points are places on the monster‘s body where the instrument has shown itself. This can be in many different forms depending on the instrument these points can be anywhere on the body. The only thing is they cannot be covered covering of the sound points makes it very, very uncomfortable as monsters are constantly releasing magic. That magic is then converted into a melody. This melody is specific to each monster, even if they’re the same instrument, they will not play the same. If a monster gets sick, their melody will be out of tune as soon as the sickness goes away the melody will go back to normal. If a monster damages a melody point this can lead to one of three outcomes
1 the first outcome is that it just needs to be bandaged and wait until pain goes away. Then filler material can be added like a splint or brace for permanently, broken bones. This leads to an altered melody.
2 if the original piece that broke off still available, it can be reattached. They typically use the same techniques as Kintsugi ( this is a technique from China, where they will glue broken pieces of pottery back together with gold, believing the seams part of the new design) This will lead to an altered melody. And a more airy melody as well.
3 if a part is beyond repair, they will still produce a melody, though the sound will not be pleasant not only will it be out of tune, but certain notes may not be able to play this will drag down on a monsters psyche as the melody is there, they are as unique as fingerprints.

Starting with Tori her sound point is in her horns. She doesn’t really have to worry about many things with it other than her strings breaking. If this happens, she will produce a new string in about a month. It’s like breaking a fingernail past the nail bed. It hurts for a while, but eventually, the pain goes away, and a new string will grow. For string instruments like liars. You don’t have to worry about many points of maintenance as long as the strings don’t get too dry or too damp. They’ll be fine.
And papyrus’s case his sound points are a little more interesting as not only does he have the holes. He also has keys that go over each one seeing as his instrument is a piccolo this means that his clothing is different then in the original au. He has to worry about some maintenance just like how some people have to lotion their skin. Every once in a while he does have to apply oil to his keys to make sure that they’re functioning properly. He doesn’t have any screws to worry about seeing as this is his magic, mostly doing a lot of of this.
Sound points have to include the amount needed to make the instrument function. This mainly includes the body of the instrument in the end piece for an instrument. If it’s more than two parts, this does not include the mouthpiece seeing as we are not having any outside air incorporated into the sound of them it does not make sense for them to have a mouthpiece. Now there can be markings similar to a mouthpiece.

I didn’t want him to be to similar to the original so I found a different flower for the underground to be infested with.
Honestly I just wanted to have a caricature that doesn’t have emotions as he is a complete sociopath in this au. Along with having his psychopathic tendencies. Even though he won’t say that he wants you dead he’ll ‘play’ with things that lead to puzzles becoming harder to near impossible to complete especially without stumbling a few times. Depending on the run you’re doing you may see him many times or not at all!
Neutral runs
most runs will fall under this category as always. You will meat Flowy in the second room you enter he will have his back to you before spinning his head around to meat your eyes. He’ll ask what brought you to the underground, then ramble for a little before being startled and fleeing. The second time you meet is right before you leave the ruins ware he’ll comment on whether you kill or not, mocking you with ( did it make you that upset when you couldn’t hear there melody any more? Is that why you reset.) if you kill but lode a previous save. he will say( you really like to listen to there melody’s don’t ya) if you spare/flee from all you encounter. and, if you kill but don’t reload you’ll get ( just like the others you humans are really picky about your preferred melodies aren’t you) before quickly disappearing you won’t encounter him again until you either waterfall where he warns about sans saying ( don’t get too comfortable around him as he and his brother have pretty strong melody’s.) before being spoked by your phone ringing. After you fight papyrus you’ll encounter him in hotland
Ware he rambles about your sole being needed to replenish the barrier and giving a warning about the lab before leaving. He won’t appear until the end of the game which flows similarly to the original (other then omega Flowy as nothing like that exists in this au seeing as there is no Collection of human souls. ) If you dint kill he’ll tell you thaer still more to do and sacrifice his life to bide you some time to complete the remaining tasks. Note— you can’t complete a true pacifist run without seeing the before mentioned Seeing as a new place opens up after the cutscene. If you meat the requirement’s you won’t fight asgor to the death he will spare you so you can say goodbye before the ritual commences.
If you kill some he’ll tell you that you’re time is up and maybe if you don’t kill next time things will be different
Genocide
You will meat him in the same place at the start tho when you leave the runes and encounter him the only thing he’ll say is (‘ I haven’t heard silence like this in a long time I’d almost forgotten how peaceful this is) before disappearing. You won’t see him until you reach new home once you get of the elevator. he’ll pop up and tell you that you confirmed what was suspected of your kind as wen you killed all it cemented that humanity didn’t care about them they only wanted their melody’s and as soon as they’re deemed worthless there killed off. After this statement he’ll disappear until the vary last Sean ware he decides to try and stop you though before he gets the chance he’s suddenly killed.
True pacifist
Starts after he tells you thaer more to do not much to say as he doesn’t appear after he sacrifices himself to the barrier to give you a small window of time to find what you need to finish (yes you are on a time limit as you only get 5 hours to finish up and get back to the king to finish the story. The ending will be discussed in a later blog as it’s not relevant to Flowy)

Start: this will detail the first portion of the underground before you enter the ruins
1. you don’t fall into the underground. instead you enter by simply walking through the barrier, tho you will quickly notice that you can’t leave.
2. Just like normal there is a patch of flowers at the entrance, tho these are nearly breaching the outside of the barrier as the sun doesn’t reach deep into the caverns.
3. you still encounter Flowy in the next room like normal tho he won’t attack you instead he’ll ask what brought you into this situation. Your conversation will be cut short as Flowy gets spooked by something approaching.
4. You will not encounter what spooked him. Instead you will duck into a nearby opening this will lead you to your first save point. ( seeing what might lye ahead fills you with determination)
5. Leaving the tunnel you will encounter a sound that reminds you of rain fallowing this will lead you to the entrance of the runes inspecting the pillars will give the text ( different musical instruments are inscribed in the pillar tho you don’t know the names) it looks like a doorway tho you can’t tell if it ever had a door
Flowy’s personality:
He is a very cold person as he doesn’t feel eny thing. This won’t stop him from trying to act like he’s normal at times especially if others are around. He isn’t as interested in killing as he is in confusing you. He isn’t a tutorial as he will never fight you on your first run.
There will be a tutorial when you enter the runes so don’t worry 😉.

This is for an Undertale au I’m currently working on posts will be sporadic as life is busy as I’m trying to avoid burnout
I know that som AU’s have given the underground a musical twist/them. this is my own take on this concept so I’m not trying to take any inspiration from the other concepts!
All monsters will have 1-2 instrument’s they are mixed with! This isn’t always based off personality or themes. The instruments they are where picked because it’s the best fit with them.
Designs aren’t finalized until the ref sheet is made this is crucial to remember as I’m really bad about consistent designs.
This blog will discuss everything from how the underground and its inhabitants look, sound, dress
And interact with each other. This will also detail the rules of this world!
