I wanted to see how far I could push these brushes toward what my tradition paper sketches used to look like when I was still being mentored 15hrs per week. For a first attempt at this I don't think it looks too bad at all!

i've gotten a lot of very kind feedback about how i draw fat bodies, so i thought id make a little guide showing my thought process!! this is far from comprehensive, but maybe it'll be helpful to anyone who feels intimidated drawing plus size furs :)

TAVIA, THE NORTHERN-WESTERN CHIMERAÉN

I adopted Tavia from her previous owner last week and so, she had to be drawn of course. She's such a beautiful gentle giant and it is wonderful to have a chubby character for once. I absolutely love her as a whole, and I cannot wait to explore her further.

Cold Fuzz

It's the season of the beanie, and what better homage than fuzzy beanie wearing Neotrin? Honestly, I started this as a wild colour challenge since I don't use colour that much at all, and I can't say I'm mad about it. It came out nice and funky, as intended. Anyway, BW version under the cut ;)

Aether Maxx & Peachez Red

In their silly little Matrix AU that started as a joke and quickly got serious the more @rjwps and I talked about it. Maxx got out before Peachez did, but she knew of him through hacking circles. They serve on the same fleet and have done so for a surprisingly long time. Maxx is a bit of an insomniac hacker who spends more time plugged in than out, while Peachez is the non-verbal foot soldier who makes sure he actually eats. Maxx mostly takes on operator duties, which surprises exactly no one. They're often the odd ones out but that doesn't really bother them.

Icons I made for a large piece I'm working on of my three Chimeraén characters. The icons are a little simplified compared to their actual designs but that was rather the point. Mission succes :P
