Kazuha and Childe are mostly like—-

Mutual understanding and comfort. Kazuha doesn’t try to think too hard and judge people because of their trauma and in turn Childe respects and admires Kazuha’s strength and composure despite everything he’s been through.

They don’t need to talk about their pasts to have feelings for each other and they always manage to make each other laugh and keep living day by day without looking back.

- they love fishing together

- sword fighting to keep each other in check

- Kazuha teaching Childe poetry.

- Childe introduces Kazuha to his siblings and they immediately think he’s a legendary warrior (he is but Kazuha is too humble)

- making excuses to travel together

- shared fondness for making food for each other a challenge

- Kazuha holding Childe close when he’s having a bad nightmare.

- fleeting moments of weakness are never judged. They understand. Childe hates it at first but the more he got to know Kazuha the more he felt comfortable in shedding some of his theoretical armor.
