Another adventure…or so the male hopes it to be a temporary thing. Whatever. I guess I’ll have to find a way to pass time. Loki takes a seat in the place full of almost lifeless dummies and leaned back with hands in his pockets to take a nap. 

Although asleep, his guard remained unable to fully relax in this new environment. The lingering feeling of being watched tickled his neck so he laid his back to the bench and held himself wishing he was at home in his bed. When Loki woke up to the sound of a loud bang, he jumped out unsure of how long he was out for. 

 ❝What’s going on?❞ The red head male yawns rubbing his eye till he realized someone was near him. Turning around instantly, icy blue eyes narrowed at the strange human woman. 

❝Do you need something?❞ He asked with a frown. 

Ah, what was it with this damned place? How dreary! The witch merely walked around what was apparently called the Central Hub, merely looking at those dressed in nun habits and clerical collars. Obviously these blokes weren’t real, considering their speech was jumbled and morphing together. 

And she thought Enochian was gibberish.

That, and the nun habits were absolutely disgusting. Even she had better fashion sense than that.

Looking down at her feet, she noticed her signature firearms missing, as well as her ability to summon them. Fantastic, she thought, rolling her eyes. Yet another place that hindered her abilities and removed her weapons. Although, the one before this had at least given her something shitty to tide her over. Here, she got nothing.

Unsurprisingly, her thoughts were interrupted by a loud bang, and she turned to the direction it came from. Of course, someone was already causing a ruckus, and she merely placed her hands on her hips. And again, she turned at the sound of the young man’s voice behind her. What a rude boy. Did he not know how to talk to a lady?

“Me? Perhaps my weapons and abilities should suffice, but you can’t give that to me, can you?”

“Oh? Now, where did someone like you come from with ears like those?” Bayonetta strode over to the man. Never had she seen pointed ears on a normal -- ah. Well. She shouldn’t really call it normal, considering the shit she’s seen. But she’d never seen them on anyone taking a human form before. Sure, she’d seen it on demons and perhaps even the angels of Paradiso, but those were rare. It intrigued her.

And what was this familiar feeling? The witch couldn’t quite put her finger on it, but she could’ve sworn she’d felt a similar presence before.

“Sweetie, do I look young enough to be a girl? Flattering, but I don’t think I’d want to look that young. Anyhow, last I heard, we all died, so I guess that’s why I’m here.”

“Oh, I’ll keep that in mind, little one.” She wasn’t going to stop with the small jokes. Unless this person proves to her that she wasn’t as small as she physically was, then ‘little one’ would be her new nickname. Ah, but Bayonetta wouldn’t treat her like a child. She was never really the motherly type.

And at least it wasn’t ‘little girl’.

“Do you at least know how you ‘ended up here’? Because it seems like we’re all in the realm of the dead.”

“Most likely the same reason you are. I just happened to end up here.” The comment about her being a little girl was annoying, but she would let it slide for now. Simple because this woman probably didn’t know any better.

His sudden action had caught her by surprise, as well as the way he had said her name. Never had he actually said the moniker she was given by Rodin, let alone her real name. It was an extremely pleasant surprise, and she was going to enjoy every minute of it.

“I took my time? As if I were actively seeking you out.” She let the back of her fingers stroke his cheek, ending at his chin. The witch did enjoy the feel of his body against hers, and hopefully her enjoyment wouldn’t come to an end any time soon.

“But I see you’ve finally started to take a liking to me. I would say you took your time, Thoth Ca-du-ceus,” she teased, enunciating each syllable of his last name.

How could he forget when that face is a terrible reminiscent of hell in itself. There was no salvation to be had, only moment’s joy that were completely momentarily. However, in this Hub where supposedly he’d work upon on separating himself from her as far as possible, he took the woman by her hips and pressed her body close to him. His expression remained unchanged however, making it difficult to tell what’s running on his knowledgeable mind.

“You took your time, Bayonetta.” And since when he had learned to speak of her name in such a way?

“Oh my, oh my, how will I ever clean up this mess? These monsters are absolutely terrible.” She’d have a little more fun if she had her actual weapons, but alas.

She strutted her way towards him, closing the space between them until there was no space left to have. After all, making other uncomfortable was her specialty. Intentionally or not.
