I'm actually such a fan of how ragnarok is treated whenever crona is doing better. like this creature that has ruined crona's life, kept them from ever connecting with people or asserting themself, physically shrinking and played almost for comedic relief. there's no redemption or anything for him he's still the same asshole as always hellbent on pissing everyone off and making crona's life worse, and crucially iirc there's never even any talk of trying to get him out of them. he's just a part of them that they can at times coexist with but never actually changes in nature, just relevance to their day to day life. kind of a banger mental illness metaphor unfortunately
