Low-key need this
Need a runaway Hiccup au, where he runs away after the events of the first movie, riders and defenders of Berk. His entire village doesn't know about the whole Toothless thing and has been lying through his teeth for years, how he lost his leg, why he's always tired, why he is barely around.
He still has Stormfly, Hookfang, Meatlug, Barf and Belch they are like his highly coordinated/trained but still stupid and dumb as fuck ride or die gang, they just don't have riders.
He runs away and forms the Edge that slowly gets bigger as he stumbles upon Heather and befriends Dagur again. Also, Viggo survives his attempt of trying to sacrifice himself for Hiccup and joins the small, slightly batshit insane group.
Hiccup teaches Viggo on ways his tribe can thrive without having to harm or sell dragons.
So now Hiccup is leading this even more ragtag group, that is more or less just Viggo trying to keep his sanity while the others keep egging each other on.
The group that he ends up fighting with in the other 2 movies plus a few

This summed up how fandoms should be

"Parts of this fandom are so aggressive and unwelcoming to new fans and it makes me so sad because the fandom is already small and niche. The infighting and the inferiority complex from shippers of smaller ships and the superiority complex of shippers of bigger ships ruin the experience for me. Fandom is supposed to be about shipping different ships. Crack theories don't have to be validated by canon. Multi-shipping is okay! You're not less of a fan for shipping a big ship like Haladriel and a smaller crack ship like Adariel at the same time. You're not a better fan for shipping only canon ships. Just because on ship has thousands of fics and one ship only has a hundred doesn't mean one ship is better than the other. Some smaller crack ships have been here for decades! Let's welcome and respect everyone who wishes to be a part of the fandom and stop with the silly fighting."

It’s so crazy that it’s canon that Galadriel was very attracted to and in love with Halbrand/Sauron and because of his abilities he knew exactly how she felt.
This is why he’s so obsessive about her and angry when she rejects him. He’s so confident he can get her because he knows she was in love with him, and at a minimum he was extremely attracted to her.
It must baffle him and haunt him to no end that she keeps resisting him despite that. It’s also canon that he felt a connection with Galadriel that he had never felt before. I wish the writers were brave enough to let them explicitly talk about it in an actual conversation with each other. At least, we got this moment though.
For a doom ship, we have been FED. They are completely obsessed with each other. The show needs to keep it going, it’s too much of a goldmine to not explore. They can do it while keeping them a doom ship. And then introduce Celeborn in season 5, whatever.
I don’t care what the actors or lorebros say about it, they cut Celeborn out of the story for a reason. They could’ve included him and still had a platonic connection. In this story, Galadriel and Sauron had an out of this world cosmic connection that neither one of them had ever experienced with another.
And it was romantic while also being dark, toxic and obsessive. Exactly 0 kings and queens in middle earth ruled together without marriage. HE WANTED MARRIAGE.

sauron doesn't just covet galadriel's light, he worships it. and his sole greatest mission would have became to bring all middle-earth to its knees to worship the light of its queen, like it's worshiped by sauron himself.
galadriel is sauron's god.
the god that he violently pierces with his crown and binds to himself by guilt when she rejects him, as his worship is selfish and cruel.
the only god who could replace the other - morgoth. it was not adar alone who saw galadriel as morgoth's successor. sauron sees that the only way for him to be free of morgoth's darkness is to bind himself to galadriel's light.
he doesn't want her as a trophy, he doesn't want to tame her, deep down, he doesn't even want her to simply be his equal.
he wants her to willingly become his master, his god. yet, when she resists, he pins her and pierces her with the crown (=the proposal/power), leaving her no choice as he penetrates her flesh with his offering, keeps pushing in as he tells her he wants her as his queen to worship, a soft expression turning into the desire to devour. if she doesn't hold his leash, he will eat her whole. if she doesn't accept his submission, he will ravage her as a means of binding in his desperation. if she doesn't bind him to her light, he will bind her to his darkness by marking her with morgoth's crown. his yearning knows no boundaries.
and he won't ever stop holding onto their connection, groping for a taste of her light, the light that will always overshadow all of his creations, the creations that won't ever quench his thirst for her light.
