Settling down in Doma was a new and fulfilling chapter for you. With no pressing duties, you found yourself with an abundance of time and energy to invest in the community. Seeing the need for stronger defense and inspired by your own experiences, you decided to share your knowledge with the next generation of Domans.
Every morning, children from the village would gather in the training grounds, eager for their lessons. You tailored your teaching to each child's aspirations. For those interested in the arcane arts, you taught the basics of magic, guiding them through the delicate dance of casting spells. For those who wished to wield swords or other weapons, you imparted the foundational techniques of combat, emphasising both skill and honor.
The children's enthusiasm was contagious, and their progress was heartening. Your stories of past adventures captivated their young minds, filling them with dreams of heroism and bravery. Over time, the children began to see you not just as a mentor but as a parental figure, someone they could look up to and trust, especially those who had lost their own parents to the ravages of war.
"Teacher! Teacher!" a young girl called out one morning, running up to you with a broad smile. "Look! I finally made my first fireball!"
She held out her hands, and a small, flickering flame appeared. You beamed with pride. "That's fantastic, Yuki! Remember to control your breathing and keep your focus. You're doing wonderfully."
A boy with a wooden sword approached next, his face set in determination. "Watch me, Y/N! I've been practicing my stances just like you showed me."
You watched as the boy executed the moves with impressive precision for his age. "Excellent, Kenjiro. Your form is much improved. Keep practicing, and you'll be a great warrior someday."
The children gathered around, their eyes wide with admiration. "Tell us another story, please!" one of them pleaded, tugging at the your sleeve.
You chuckled, sitting down among them. "Alright, alright. How about the time we fought the dragon in the harsh, cold mountains?"
The children gasped in unison, their excitement palpable. "Yes! Tell us about the dragon!"
As you recounted the tale, complete with dramatic gestures and vivid descriptions, the children's faces lit up with awe and delight. They hung on every word, their imaginations running wild with visions of brave battles and epic adventures.
One day, while teaching a particularly enthusiastic group of would-be mages, you noticed a small boy struggling with his spells. The boy's brow was furrowed in concentration, but the sparks he produced were weak and flickering.
You knelt beside him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder. "It's okay, Kaito. Everyone struggles at first. Magic takes time and practice. Let's try again together."
Kaito looked up at you, his eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Teacher. I don't want to disappoint you."
"You could never disappoint me," you replied gently. "Remember, every great mage started just where you are now. Keep trying, and you'll get there."
On a rare day off, both you and Hien decided to spend your time together strolling through the settlement. You walked through the bustling streets, exchanging greetings and engaging in small talk with the Domans. The sun was high, casting a warm glow over the city, and for once, both of you felt a sense of peace and normalcy.
Hien’s hand found yours, your fingers entwining naturally. “I’m so glad we have this day together,” Hien said, squeezing your hand gently. “It feels like we’re finally able to enjoy the calm after the storm.”
You smiled warmly at him. “Me too, Hien. It’s nice to just be us, without the weight of the world on our shoulders.”
As you walked, a group of excited children spotted you and rushed over. Their faces lit up at the sight of you, chattering animatedly about their progress in training. Hien watched in quiet amusement as the children vied for your attention, recounting their latest achievements with pride.
"Warrior! I finally managed to cast my first fire spell without burning anything down!" a young boy exclaimed, his eyes shining with accomplishment.
"And I perfected my sword stance!" another child chimed in, mimicking the movements with enthusiasm.
Among the crowd was a small girl, her eyes twinkling with mischief. She looked from you to Hien and back again, a sly smile spreading across her face. "Are you two married?" she asked innocently, causing the other children to giggle.
Before either of them could respond, the girl started chanting, "Hien and Y/N, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"
Hien's cheeks turned a faint shade of red, but he couldn't help but laugh. He leaned down to the girl’s level, a playful glint in his eyes. "Well, what if we were? Would you all behave yourselves better for us?"
The children erupted into giggles, their teasing laughter filling the air. You, equally flustered, ruffled the girl's hair affectionately. "Now, now," you said with a grin, "we're just very good friends." You winked at her, putting your finger to your lips in a silent secret, causing the girl to giggle.
Hien stood back up, wrapping an arm around your shoulders. "The very best of friends," he agreed, pulling you a little closer.
The children laughed and continued their playful teasing, and Hien watched the interaction with fondness. It warmed his heart to see how naturally you fit into the fabric of Doman life, especially with the children who represented the future of their nation.
Noticing how well the children and you got along, Hien felt a renewed sense of purpose. He realized that he too wanted to be more involved in nurturing the next generation. As your conversation with the children continued, a few adults approached, gently reminding the kids that it was time to let the Warrior and Hien enjoy their day off.
That evening, after a pleasant day spent exploring and connecting with the people of Doma, Hien and you returned to your shared room. The warmth and intimacy of your space felt especially welcoming after the day's events. You settled down together, enjoying the quiet comfort of each other's presence.
Hien broke the silence, his voice filled with admiration. "You know, watching you with the children today made me realise just how incredible you are with them. They adore you, and I can see why."
You smiled, touched by his words. "They remind me of why we fight, why we strive for a better future. They are the hope of Doma."
Hien nodded, his expression serious but tender. "I want to be more involved with them, too. I think it's important that they see both of us as their mentors, their guides. Whenever I can, I'll join you in the training sessions."
Your eyes softened with affection. "I'd like that, Hien. I think it would mean a lot to them, and to me."
Hien leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead. "Then it's settled. We'll face the future together, not just as partners, but as teachers and protectors of Doma's future."
That night, as you lay entwined in each other's arms, Hien couldn't help but feel a deep sense of contentment. The love you shared and the commitment to your people gave him strength and hope.
In the days that followed, Hien made good on his promise. He began to join you during the training sessions, lending his own expertise and guidance. The children were thrilled to have both of their heroes teaching them, and the sessions became even more lively and engaging.
"Look, Lord Hien!" a girl called out during one session, showing off her newly mastered spell. "I did it just like the Warrior showed me!"
Hien clapped enthusiastically. "Well done, Ayame! You have a natural talent for magic."
A boy practicing swordplay with you glanced over at Hien. "Are you going to teach us more cool moves, Lord Hien?" he asked eagerly.
Hien nodded, a smile playing on his lips. "Of course. I wouldn't miss it for the world."
Hien often joined in the children's games, teasing them gently and making them laugh. "Let's see if any of you can catch me yet." he'd call out, pretending to flee while the children chased after him, their laughter ringing through the air.
You watched these interactions with a heart full of happiness. Seeing Hien so at ease, playing and teasing the children, filled you with a profound sense of joy. Hien’s involvement made the training sessions even more special, and the children adored him just as much as they did you.
Together, you and Hien forged a new path for Doma, one that was built on the strength of your bond and the promise of a brighter future. The children thrived under your tutelage, growing stronger and more confident with each passing day.
And as you watched the next generation flourish, Hien and you knew that your efforts were not in vain. You had found a new purpose, a new chapter in your story, and you faced it with unwavering determination and love.

○°○°○°○
The return to Doma was both a nostalgic and solemn journey for the Warrior of Light. The city, once ravaged by war, now showed signs of resilience and renewal. As you walked through the streets, the air was thick with the scent of new timber and the clamour of construction. Domans bustled around, their faces lined with determination as they worked tirelessly to rebuild their home.
Despite their efforts, it was clear that there was still much to be done. You approached several groups of labourers, offering assistance. Each time, the response was the same: a polite yet firm refusal. The Domans preferred to rebuild with their own hands. Instead, they pointed you towards the training grounds where Hien was currently training.
Intrigued, you made your way to the designated area. As you neared the grounds, you noticed a growing crowd, predominantly women, gathered around the perimeter. Curiosity piqued, you gently pushed through the crowd, murmuring apologies as you went. Finally breaking through the last row, the reason for the crowd's excitement became immediately clear.
Hien, bare-chested and gleaming with sweat, moved with the fluid grace of a seasoned samurai. His katana sliced through the air with precision, each movement deliberate and powerful. The sight was mesmerising, the raw strength and elegance of his training drawing your gaze like a magnet and warming your cheeks. The crowd watched in rapt silence, the atmosphere charged with admiration and awe.
As you stood there, unable to tear your eyes away, Hien suddenly paused. He turned, his gaze meeting yours across the training ground. A slow smile spread across his face, and he raised his voice to address the crowd.
"Warrior of Light!" he called out, his tone warm and inviting. "It has been too long. Come, join me. Let us show our friends here the art of the sword."
The crowd murmured with excitement, parting to allow you through. Accepting the challenge, you stepped forward, drawing your weapon. The two warriors faced each other, a silent understanding passing between you. This was more than just a spar; it was a dance, a demonstration of skill and mutual respect.
The duel began with a flurry of movement, your swords clashing in a harmonious rhythm. Each strike and parry was executed with precision, your movements almost choreographed. The crowd watched in silent awe, their eyes fixed on the two figures moving with such grace and intensity. It was a breathtaking display, a testament to the years of training and the bond between the two warriors.
Minutes stretched into what felt like hours, the sparring match a blur of motion and sound. Finally, with a flourish, Hien stepped back, lowering his weapon and signaling the end of the duel. The crowd erupted into applause, their admiration evident in their cheers and claps. Hien, breathing heavily but grinning widely, approached you.
"You have not lost your touch," he said, clapping a hand on your shoulder. "Thank you for this. It is good to have you back in Doma."
You smiled in return, grateful for the warm welcome. As the crowd began to disperse, Hien extended an invitation.
"Please, stay with us while you are here. We have spare rooms, and it would be an honour to have you as our guest."
Gratefully, you accepted, and Hien led you to one of the guest quarters. The room was simple yet comfortable, a testament to Doman hospitality. After settling in, Hien suggested you catch up over drinks later in the evening.
Night fell, and the two of you found yourselves seated in a cosy corner of the palace, sharing sake and stories. Laughter echoed through the halls as you reminisced about past adventures and discussed the future of Doma. One cup of sake led to another, and before long, you were both pleasantly tipsy.
As the night wore on, it became clear that Hien had had a bit too much to drink. His usually sharp eyes were glazed, and his movements became sluggish. You offered to help him back to his room. Supporting Hien's weight, you made your way down the dimly lit corridors, the air filled with the soft hum of nighttime.
Once inside Hien's quarters, you gently lowered him onto his futon. Hien, though clearly intoxicated, managed to cup your cheek with surprising tenderness. His eyes, though bleary, were filled with a sincerity that cut through the haze of alcohol.
"Y/N," he murmured, his voice slurred but earnest. "There is something I must tell you… something I have felt for a long time."
Your heart pounded in your chest, the world narrowing to the space between you. Hien's thumbs brushed lightly over your skin, his gaze intense despite his inebriated state.
"I love you," he confessed, his voice barely above a whisper. "I have loved you for so long…"
The words hung in the air, a poignant and unexpected declaration. You, caught off guard, searched Hien's eyes for any sign that this was merely the sake talking. But all you found was sincerity and longing, a depth of feeling that transcended the effects of alcohol.
Hien's eyes began to flutter shut, exhaustion and sake taking their toll. You gently guided him to lie down fully, pulling the covers over him. You sat beside him for a moment, processing the confession that had just been laid bare.
As Hien's breathing evened out into the steady rhythm of sleep, you found yourself at a crossroads. The bond you shared with Hien was deep, forged through countless battles and shared hardships. This new revelation added a layer of complexity to your relationship, one that would require careful consideration.
With a final, tender glance at the sleeping form of your friend, you stood and quietly exited the room. The night outside was calm, the stars casting a gentle glow over Doma. As you walked back to your quarters, the your mind was awash with thoughts and emotions, the weight of Hien's confession settling over you.
The following morning dawned bright and clear over Doma, but your mind was anything but clear. You had spent a restless night pondering Hien's unexpected confession. As the sun's first rays filtered through your window, you felt a sense of determination settle over you. You needed to find Hien and give him an answer.
The search began immediately. You roamed the training grounds, checked the main hall, and even visited the construction sites where Hien was known to lend a hand. Each time you asked about his whereabouts, the answers were vague or contradictory. It seemed as though Hien was always just out of reach.
Your frustration grew with each passing hour. When you did catch sight of Hien, he would quickly excuse himself, citing urgent matters or important meetings. It was becoming painfully clear that Hien was avoiding you.
By late afternoon, your patience had worn thin. You had been rebuffed at every turn, and the persistent evasion was beginning to feel like a cruel game. When Hien declined to join you for dinner, you decided you have had enough. You would confront Hien directly, no matter what it took.
As night fell, you positioned yourself in Hien's room, knowing he would eventually have to return. You sat in the dim light, your thoughts a tumult of frustration and anticipation. When the door finally creaked open, Hien stepped inside, his expression turning to surprise upon seeing you.
Before he could retreat, you moved swiftly, pinning him to the wall. Hien's eyes widened, and he avoided meeting your gaze.
"Why are you avoiding me?" You demanded, your voice low but intense.
"I have... important matters to attend to," Hien muttered, still refusing to look directly at you.
Your frustration bubbled over. "Is that what last night was? Just a drunken ramble? Did you not mean what you said?"
Hien flinched at your words but remained silent. Your heart ached with the weight of your own emotions, and you couldn't keep the hurt out of your voice.
"I spent all night thinking about what you said, trying to sort out my feelings. And now, when I'm ready to give you an answer, you won't even face me!"
Hien finally looked up, his eyes filled with a mixture of guilt and longing. "I... I didn't know how you would react," he admitted. "I was afraid."
Your grip on his shoulders tightened momentarily before you stepped back, giving him space. "Afraid of what? That I would reject you? That I would laugh at you?"
Hien shook his head. "Afraid that I had ruined everything. That my feelings would push you away."
The room fell silent as you processed his words. The vulnerability in Hien's voice touched you deeply, and you felt your anger begin to melt away.
"Hien," you said softly, "I could never be pushed away by you. Last night, when you confessed, I was shocked. But it made me realise something important."
Hien's eyes met yours, hope flickering in their depths. "What did you realise?"
You took a deep breath, gathering your courage. "That I have feelings for you too. Maybe I've had them for a long time, but I never fully understood them until now."
A silence stretched between you, heavy with unspoken emotions. Then, in a moment of clarity, Hien reached out and took your hands in his.
"I meant every word I said," Hien confessed, his voice steady. "I love you. Not just as a friend or a comrade, but as someone I want to share my life with."
Your heart swelled with emotion. "And I love you too, Hien," you replied, your voice thick with sincerity. "I want to be with you."
In that instant, the distance between you vanished. Hien pulled you into a tender, heartfelt kiss, your lips meeting with a passion that spoke of all the words you had yet to say. It was a kiss filled with promise and the unspoken bond that had always existed between you.
When you finally parted, breathless and exhilarated, Hien's eyes shone with a happiness that mirrored your own. "Stay with me tonight," he whispered, his voice a plea and a promise all at once.
You nodded, your answer clear in your eyes. You helped Hien prepare for bed, your movements filled with a new, intimate familiarity. As you lay down together, the weight of the day lifted, replaced by a profound sense of rightness.
In the quiet of the night, you held each other close, your hearts beating in unison. The future was still uncertain, but for now, you had each other. And that was enough.
After the night's activities, sleep began to claim you, pressing soft kiss to Hien's forehead. "Good night, Hien," you murmured.
Hien's arms tightened around you, his voice a contented sigh. "Good night, my love."
You smiled, your heart full. For the first time in a long while, you felt at peace.

The warm morning light filtered through the windows, while the Scions seated around the central table in the Rising Stones. It was a rare moment of relative peace, a time to discuss strategy without the immediate pressure of an existential threat looming over their heads.
Thancred leaned back in his chair, his sharp eyes sweeping over the assembled company. Y'shtola was engrossed in a tome, Urianger was poring over ancient scrolls, and Alphinaud and Alisaie were in a heated discussion about the finer points of their latest mission. G'raha Tia, ever enthusiastic, was gesturing animatedly while recounting a recent adventure to Tataru, who listened with a warm smile.
The door to the meeting room creaked open, and you, the younger sibling of the Warrior of Light, stepped in with a bright, cheerful expression. "Good morning, everyone!" You greeted, plopping down in an empty chair.
"Good morning, Y/N," Alphinaud responded with a smile, though his expression shifted to one of mild concern as he noticed a dark mark on your neck. "Y/N, what happened to your neck?"
You blinked in surprise and raised a hand to your neck, fingers brushing over the small, round bruise. "Oh, this?" You said nonchalantly. "I think it's from a mosquito. Nasty little buggers, aren't they?"
Thancred's eyes narrowed ever so slightly, a suspicious glint flickering in his gaze. "A mosquito, you say?" he murmured, nudging Urianger with his elbow.
Urianger looked up, his gaze following Thancred’s. His eyes widened momentarily before he quickly composed himself.
Y’shtola glanced up from her book, her sharp eyes narrowing as she observed you. She raised an eyebrow, a knowing smile tugging at the corners of her lips. “It appears you’ve been keeping busy, Y/N,” she said, her tone teasing, earning a confused look from you.
G’raha Tia, less adept at masking his reactions, blushed furiously, his ears twitching in embarrassment. “Y/N, do you…um…realise-"
Before G'raha could finish his sentence on the so-called mosquito bite, the door swung open again, and Estinien entered the room. The former Azure Dragoon, usually so composed and stoic, momentarily froze as he saw the gathered Scions. His eyes met yours, and for a fleeting second, something unspoken passed between you.
"And in comes the mosquito." Thancred murmers with a smirk. Alisaie and Tataru stifled a giggle, Alphinaud's eyes widened in shock at the realisation.
The Warrior of Light, who had been sitting quietly and observing the exchange, suddenly stood up, eyes narrowing as they pieced together the puzzle. Their gaze shifted from your neck to Estinien and the way you were looking at each other, their protective instincts flaring up. "Estinien," they began, their voice low and dangerous, "a word, if you please."
Estinien raised an eyebrow, clearly puzzled by the Warrior of Light’s tone, but he nodded and followed them to a more private corner of the room. The other Scions watched with interest, sensing the tension in the air.
“What’s going on?” you asked, looking around the room with confusion.
“Just a bit of sibling bonding, Y/N,” Thancred replied with a chuckle. “Nothing to worry about.”
"Is something the matter?" Estinien asked, his tone carefully neutral.
"You," the Warrior of Light said, stepping closer to Estinien, "gave my sibling a hickey." It was not a question but a statement of fact, delivered with the weight of an older sibling's protective fury.
Your eyes widened in confusion, looking between your sibling and Estinien. "Wait, what? Hickey? I told you, it's just a mosquito bite!"
“I did,” he admitted, meeting the Warrior of Light’s gaze unflinchingly.
Thancred couldn't hold back a chuckle any longer. "Ah, young love," he said with a knowing smile. "Estinien, you might want to tread carefully here. Our dear Warrior of Light is rather protective of their family."
The Warrior of Light’s hand clenched into a fist at their side. “You dare touch Y/N?” they hissed, their voice trembling with barely suppressed anger.
Estinien, who had faced down dragons and fought countless battles, now found himself at the mercy of a very different kind of adversary: the wrath of an overprotective sibling. He raised his hands in a placating gesture. "It was not my intention to cause any harm," he said carefully. "Y/N and I… well, we have grown close. Not to mention your sibling is capable of making their own decisions,” he said quietly. “And I care for them deeply. I would never do anything to harm them.”
The Warrior of Light’s anger faltered at Estinien’s words, their fist unclenching. They took a deep breath, trying to calm the storm of emotions raging within them. “If you ever hurt them, I will make you regret it.” They warned, their voice still firm but less hostile.
Estinien nodded, a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. “Understood,” he said simply.
Your face lit up with realisation, finally understanding what everyone was talking about. "Oh! That kind of hickey! I… didn't even notice."
The room erupted in laughter, the tension dissipating in an instant. Y'shtola closed her book with a snap, a rare smile gracing her lips. "Well, it seems we have nothing to worry about, then. Shall we return to the matter at hand?"
As the meeting continued, the mood lightened considerably. Laughter filled the room, the earlier tension forgotten. You, on the other hand, were now a blushing mess, stealing glances at Estinien constantly throughout the meeting.
Estinien stood by the window, a rare smile on his lips as he watched you interact with the other Scions. He felt a sense of contentment, knowing that despite the initial shock and tension, their relationship was accepted by those who mattered most.
As the meeting came to an end, you made your way over to Estinien, a pout adoring your face. You glanced around to make sure no one was within earshot before lowering your voice. "You left a hickey where everyone could see it!"
A faint smirk tugged at the corner of Estinien's lips. "My apologies, Y/N. I didn't realise it would be so noticeable."
Your face flushed a deep shade of red as you crossed your arms over your chest. "It's not funny, Estinien! Everyone noticed it, and I had no idea what they were talking about. I thought it was just a mosquito bite!"
Estinien's smirk softened into a more genuine, albeit slightly amused, smile. "I truly am sorry, Y/N. I didn't mean to embarrass you."
You huffed, your frustration melting away under Estinien's sincere gaze. "Just... next time, be more careful, okay? I don't want to have to explain this to everyone again."
Estinien nodded, his expression serious. "Of course. I'll be more mindful in the future. Though I don't think we'll have to explain ourselves again." A smirk found itself on his face again.
Your blush deepened, causing Estinien to chuckle softly, a rare sound that made your heart skip a beat. He reached out, gently taking your hand in his.
As they stood there, hand in hand, the Warrior of Light watched from a distance, a small smile playing on their lips. They could see the genuine affection in Estinien's eyes and felt reassured that their sibling was in good hands.
The moment was interrupted by Thancred's voice, laced with amusement. "Are you two done whispering sweet nothings to each other? We've got work to do, you know."
Your face turned an even deeper shade of red as you quickly let go of Estinien's hand. "Uh, yes, Thancred. We're coming."
Estinien gave Thancred a bemused look before turning back to you. "Shall we?"
You nodded, your embarrassment slowly fading as you walked back to rejoin the group. The Scions continued to tease you two good-naturedly, but the atmosphere remained light and jovial.
You approached your sibling, a sheepish smile on your face. "Sorry about that," you said. "I didn't mean to cause a scene."
The Warrior of Light ruffled your hair affectionately, earning a pout from you. "It's fine. Just remember, I'm always here for you. And if Estinien ever steps out of line…"
You laughed, hugging your sibling tightly. "I know, I know. Thanks."
Estinien watched the exchange from a distance, a soft smile playing on his lips. He knew that earning the Warrior of Light's full trust would take time, but he was willing to put in the effort. For you, he would face any challenge, even the formidable protectiveness of your sibling.

The Warrior of Light hardly ever had any time to themselves. But when you did, you didn't know what to do with yourself. Laying in bed would simply make you feel antsy and you would find yourself walking back and forth in your room with thoughts swarming in your head of the now disbanded Scions and how you missed the bunch, especially a certain redhead. So instead of dwelling on that, you decided to go out and see if anyone had any troubles they needed help with.
Walking down the streets of Limsa Lominsa, many people greeted you, but no one beckoned you over in need of help—which should have been a relief. But moments of peace only last so long.
"HEY! Someone stop him! Thief!" You heard a man yell after a masked figure who was running towards your direction with a box in their arms. You stepped aside, blending in with the parting crowd before raising your leg as the person ran past, effectively tripping them.
The man caught up, gasping for air while trying to express his gratefulness for catching the thief. Some Maelstrom guards close behind arrived to apprehend the thief, and you took the box from the ground to give it back to its owner.
"Thank you again! We don't have enough people watching over the cargo while we load it on the ship, so that bloody thief seized the opportunity to take one of our boxes."
"I can help with loading the ship," you offered the older man. Anything to keep you preoccupied, even for a little while, was welcomed.
"Oh dear me. I could never even think of asking the Warrior of Light to help with such—"
"I insist," you interrupted the man.
He nodded, not wanting to make a further scene, and because he needed the help. You helped the man and the few crew members load the ship. While in light conversation with the members, you found out they were heading to Old Sharlayan. So as repayment, you asked them to let you take the trip with them. The captain, recognizing your name and reputation, accepted this proposal without hesitation.
After securing passage on the ship bound for Old Sharlayan, you assisted with the remaining tasks, grateful for the distraction. The crew, initially hesitant about accepting your help, soon warmed to your presence. Amid the bustling activity of loading and preparing the ship for its journey, you found a semblance of peace in the rhythm of work.
As the ship set sail, you leaned against the railing, watching Limsa Lominsa fade into the horizon. The gentle rocking of the vessel and the crisp sea breeze provided a much-needed respite from the constant demands placed upon you. Yet, a sense of anticipation tingled within you as you thought about G'raha Tia. It had been too long since you had seen him, and the idea of surprising him brought a smile to your face.
The journey to Old Sharlayan was smooth, with the crew's camaraderie making the time pass quickly. You often found yourself reminiscing about your adventures with the Scions, sharing stories with the sailors who were eager to hear about your exploits. Your mind frequently wandered to G'raha, wondering how he was faring in his studies and duties.
As the ship approached Old Sharlayan, your heart raced with excitement. You disembarked with the crew, helping them unload their cargo before making your way through the familiar streets. The city, with its grand architecture and scholarly air, filled you with a sense of nostalgia.
Navigating through the bustling Agora, you made your way to the Studium, where you knew G'raha would likely be. The anticipation built with each step, and finally, you spotted him in one of the quieter courtyards, engrossed in a tome. His red hair glinted in the sunlight, and a wave of affection washed over you.
"G'raha!" you called out, your voice filled with excitement.
He looked up, his eyes widening in surprise. "Y/N?! What are you doing here?"
You grinned, walking over to him. "I thought I'd surprise you. It's been too long."
G'raha stood up, a wide smile spreading across his face. "It certainly has. I can't believe you're here!" He enveloped you in a warm hug, and you felt a rush of comfort and joy in his embrace.
The two of you spent the rest of the afternoon catching up, wandering through the tranquil gardens of Old Sharlayan. G'raha shared stories of his studies and the progress he had made, while you recounted your recent adventures. The conversation flowed easily, the bond between you as strong as ever.
As evening fell, G'raha invited you to his quarters, a cozy room filled with books and mementos. You settled onto a comfortable couch, and he handed you a steaming cup of tea.
"It's so good to see you," he said, his voice soft. "I've missed you more than I can say."
"I've missed you too," you admitted, feeling a warmth spread through you. "It's been hard without the Scions. I miss everyone, but especially you."
G'raha's eyes softened, and he reached out to take your hand. "I've thought about you every day. It's been difficult, but knowing you're out there, doing what you do best, helping people, has been a comfort."
You squeezed his hand, the moment stretching between you, filled with unspoken emotions. "I'm glad I came. I needed to see you, to be with you." You confess.
He smiled, a tender expression that made your heart flutter. "I'm glad you did too."
The conversation shifted to lighter topics, and as the night grew darker, the two of you found yourselves nestled together on the couch. The comfort of his presence, the warmth of his body next to yours, eased the restlessness that had plagued you for so long.
"G'raha," you whispered, your head resting on top of his, as his was on your shoulder. "There's something I need to tell you."
He turned slightly, his gaze meeting yours. "What is it?"
Taking a deep breath, you gathered your courage. "I've realised something over these past few months. I care about you deeply, more than just a friend."
G'raha's eyes widened slightly, his grip on your hand tightening. "You mean…?"
You nodded, your heart pounding. "I love you, G'raha."
For a moment, there was only silence, the weight of your confession hanging in the air. Then, G'raha's face broke into a radiant smile. "I love you too," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "I've loved you for so long."
A sense of relief and joy washed over you, and you leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss to his lips. It was soft and tentative at first, but as he responded, the kiss deepened, filled with the unspoken promises and emotions that had been building between you.
When you finally pulled away, both of you were breathless, your foreheads resting against each other. "I've wanted to tell you for so long," you murmured.
G'raha cupped your cheek, his thumb brushing gently against your skin. "And I've wanted to hear it for just as long."
The rest of the night was spent wrapped in each other's arms, talking quietly about your hopes and dreams for the future. The burdens and worries that had weighed you down seemed lighter with G'raha by your side.
As you drifted off to sleep, nestled against G'raha, you felt a sense of peace and contentment that you hadn't felt in a long time.
The next morning, you awoke to find G'raha watching you with a soft smile. "Good morning," he whispered, pressing a kiss to your forehead.
"Good morning," you replied, feeling a warmth spread through you, nuzzling into his chest further for a few more moments.
The two of you spent the day exploring Old Sharlayan, hand in hand. The city seemed brighter, the air sweeter with G'raha by your side. As you wandered through the streets, you couldn't help but feel grateful for the unexpected turn of events that had brought you here.
Later that evening, as you stood on a balcony overlooking the city, G'raha pulled you close. "I don't know what the future holds," he said softly. "But I do know that I want to face it with you."
You nodded, leaning into his embrace. "Me too. Whatever comes, we'll face it together."
With the stars shining brightly above and the promise of a new day ahead, you felt a renewed sense of hope and determination. The journey might be long and filled with challenges, but with G'raha by your side, you knew you could overcome anything.

Ugh I struggled so much writing the dialogue for him. Hence, not much dialogue and I left it quite short.
This one is a bit of a fem WoL who's shorter than Urianger, but anyone can read it really as it's not mentioned much.

The pixies' games, while tiresome, were ultimately harmless. After navigating a series of enchantments and illusions, you and your comrades finally had enough of their endless games, resolving to calling upon your trusted pixie to finally lift the illusion.
Finally, you're able to navigate to the Bookman's Shelves. With each passing minute, you were becoming more nervous at the thought of seeing Urianger again, the wonderous true nature of Il Mheg, a welcome distraction.
"And here we are. I give you Urianger's humble abode." Thancred introduces a little dramatically. He went in and held the door open for you and Minfilia while also calling for the elven man.
As you walked in, the sight of him took your breath away. Gone were the heavy robes and scholarly attire you were accustomed to seeing him in. Instead, he wore garments that seemed to flow like water, the fabric shimmering in the warm light. His new attire left his muscular back exposed, revealing the taut, graceful lines of his frame. His silver hair cascaded down his shoulders, framing a face that seemed more ethereal than ever.
You stood still, basically gawking at the man, snapping out of it only when Thancred cleared his throat. You didn't know what you missed of the conversation as you realised Minfilia was gone, and they both had their attention on you now.
After unceremoniously collecting yourself, and a devious smirk from Thancred, Urianger proceeded to tell you his vision.
Some time later, you find yourself alone with Urianger. You have yet to look at the man in the eyes, never mind talking to him, you didn't trust your own voice in that moment. Stealing a glance where you last saw the elven, he now had his back on you, concentrated on a book he picked up.
Without thinking, as if in a trance, you slowly approached the elven, your eyes trying to memorise every part of his exposed skin and muscle. You reached out slowly, lightly grazing your fingers along his exposed skin.
Urianger tensed for a moment, then relaxed under your touch. "My lady?" he queried softly, turning slightly to look at you.
You pulled your hand back, flustered. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to... it's just, this is new." You proceed to point at all of him.
He chuckled, a deep, melodic sound that sent a shiver down your spine. "Aye," he acknowledged with a gentle smile. "The pixies didst insist upon a change in attire, deeming mine old garb unsuitable for their realm."
For the second time that day, you couldn't tear your eyes away from him. You had always known Urianger as the reserved and enigmatic scholar, but here he stood, almost otherworldly in his beauty. You felt a strange shyness bubble up within you, a feeling you weren't accustomed to.
"They have a certain taste." You managed, trying to maintain your composure. "I've never seen you like this," you admitted after a pause, your voice barely above a whisper and eyes darting from him to the books behind. "It's... mesmerizing."
He turned fully to face you, his gaze intense yet gentle. "As art thou, Warrior of Light. Thy valour and heart shine brighter than any adornment."
Your heart skipped a beat at his words, the sincerity in his eyes making you feel both exposed and cherished. You couldn't deny your feelings for the elven man any longer, having a crush on him from the moment you joined the Scions. You took a deep breath, gathering your courage. "Urianger, I've always admired you, but seeing you like this... it's different. It's like I'm seeing a part of you I never knew existed."
He reached out, taking your hand in his. "We are all shaped by our experiences, by the places and people we encounter. This realm hath revealed facets of myself I had not known. As it hath for thee, I am sure."
You sat in silence for a moment, the connection between you palpable. The pixies, ever observant, seemed to fade into the background, granting you a rare moment of privacy.
"Urianger," you begin again, your voice trembling slightly, "I don't know what this means, but I... I feel drawn to you, more than ever." You didn't know why you finally confessed, it might have been the shock from his new attire, or the enchanting atmosphere, but you were glad you finally said it.
He squeezed your hand gently, his eyes never leaving yours, making you unable to look away from his. "Then let us explore this path together, my lady. For in this world of shadows and light, we need not walk alone."
You felt a weight lift from your shoulders, like with those simple words, he took away some of your burdens. With Urianger by your side, you felt more confident in foregoing the challenges in your journey.
You giggled and leaned up, grabbing his robes, making him slightly lean down so you could place a sweet kiss on his cheek. The interaction basically took away all the courage you had left, turning around right after and walking out to find Thancred or Minfilia.
Urianger brought his hand to his cheek where you had kissed him, a smile on his face. He could get used to this. The elven promised himself that the next time you two may find some peace alone together, he would return the favour and maybe more.
