i need this fandom to shut the fuck up about shipping for just one moment. please. oh my god. shut the fuck up. and no i do not Hate All Fun And Shipping As A Whole, this is coming from an avid multishipper and rarepair enjoyer but jesus christ some of you bitches cannot hold a 5 minute discussion of any of these shows or their characters unless its about romance and shoving characters together. its fucking exhausting and an absolute hellscape for the aspecs of this community (and DO NOT fuckin try me with that "aro people can still love blabla its a spectrum" shit either i will Bite you)

its literally impossible in most osc spaces to discuss ANYTHING non romance related or even dare to criticize this exact issue cuz people will just call you a killjoy and spam over you with their random shippy bullshit. like cool way to alienate all the romance repulsed ppl around you. really showing your support for the Whole Aro Spectrum. /s

there are so many more ways for characters to care for eachother outside of romance. there are so many interesting character arcs and stories to explore in these shows that are NOT ROMANCE CENTERED. please. just try at least for a few minutes. do something with your favorite show without any romantic shipping. try to analyze the story arcs, the themes, hell, even relationships without using the words "yaoi/yuri" just once. some of you people act like it'd kill you. once again i say this as an aro who is so so incredibly sappy for fictional romance of all kinds, even i have my limits.

and don't think i don't notice how common y'all only give aspec headcanons to the characters you really don't care about, or only give them to either the "cold unfeeling" or straight up infantilized characters. in 2025 no less?? i cant even imagine how y'all treat any canon aro characters.

Btw for the record every time im drawing mephoj from now on its my own little version of canon where the plot twist did not happen 👍 i want to enjoy my funny backstory hcs for the cast ive been building on for at least 5 years before the movie tore it down
