The one I never Loved, by Mercavez,

I remember your look.

The way you smiled awkwardly.

I remember your chuckle as we joked innocently.

We always smiled but never for long but never hated or argued at all.

Wherever I went you followed and whenever you needed me I was there.

But that is all we were.

We used each other emotionally like a

weird emotional friend with benefits, leaning on each other when we were both crumbling.

But we both knew what we were.

Broken, and a broken person can't fix another broken person.

So we enjoyed each other's embrace.

Purely enjoying the sensation of love and not falling into it's cold waiting arms.

For we knew it wasn't meant to be.

We were only each other's comfort for the moment.

When you left me at first I was a wreck

I

spent my time alone, no one to spend time with or lean on.

My cracks were showing.

i could not hide in your embrace anymore.

Was it the same for you?

I will never know.

Like a peblel dropped into a mountain of gravel you disappeared into the city.

One moment undependable, the next lost. We met again later within some festivities but we were no longer the same.

We were cured, no longer needing the comfort.

We were strangers then, without a final hug or goodbye we left.

Sometimes I wonder what you've accomplished and what you have created.

But I Know now that is none of my business.

We are strangers, different people, better people.

And those old people?

The ones who would carry each other, push each other and caring about each other?

They're gone. Participating in an endless embrace In our memories.

Welp, guess I do fan art now.

Just wanted to try something different and get out of my comfort zone so I drew up Alice from BatIM. I love the game and I can’t wait for the last chapter.

I just finished making my own contest, however, I made it on deviantArt since that’s where I post most of my art and I’m celebrating page views on it.

If you’re interested, it’s a Draw My OC(s) contest and the characters are all Sonic styled but you can draw them in whatever style you’re comfortable with. There are art and points as prizes and even a bonus raffle.
