My brother in law recently became a veterinarian and it has really driven the point home as to how fucking bonkers veterinary medicine is. We don't expect human physicians to really know much outside of their own specialty - a dentist, an otolaryngologist, and a maxillofacial surgeon are three totally different dudes. Meanwhile a veterinarian at a wildlife rehab center is doing orthopedic surgery on a hawk and then doing rounds on baby hedgehogs in the hedgehog NICU and administering antibiotics to a ratsnake. And he also knows how to perform surgical interventions on a cow! What the fuck! Those are all totally, wildly different kinds of animal!!

Shout out to veterinarians, they know Too Much.

Please enjoy these two art pieces! The first one is a frog in a hat I drew for an art telephone game, and the second is an npc in a dnd game I play in named Tarsis the Fey (not to be confused with Tarsis the Human, who he constantly pesters for fun)

Finally finished! This one took awhile since I decided to try out a new coloring style (the original plan was to outline over the colors, but I really liked it lineless) and also managed to find some new favorite brushes!

So I don't normally post WIPs, but I'm so proud of having finally gotten this far on mermay piece, I just had to share! It looks a little different from my usual lining style because I really wanted to digitally color this piece, so keep an eye out for that in the near(ish) future...

Ok, as promised, here's Nott as the shsl Kleptomaniac!

Clothes are hard! Can't believe it took me 3 months to just put clothes on her smh.

I was tempted to just give her her yellow dress and iconic button jewelry, but I decided to go for more of a catsuit vibe (black shirt and pants) but give her random accessories she definitely stole (plus the button necklace and some button earrings lmao)

Sorry I've been gone for so long, but I'd just like to offer a peak behind the curtain for a minute. This critical role danganronpa au was basically all I was motivated to draw for a while, but I've reached a point where I feel like I'm forcing myself to do art my brain no longer wants to make.

I started a picture of Nott back in March. It's now May and I still have no idea how to finish this image, though I plan to try tonight.

School is finishing up for the semester and the final rush is kicking my ass in the motivation department.

I think I'm just gonna finish up Nott and maybe get back to the rest of the whole au cast another time, especially because I just got some fresh hot inspiration

So tl;dr I think I'm stepping back from my au for a bit, sorry if thats what you were here for lmao

Not an official post (mainly because I forgot to sign it lmaoooo) but I decided to do a tiny (it really is tiny) self-portrait to use as a better icon than my cat lol

It's on the back of a little sticky-note-sized notepaper and it's barely a quarter of the size lol, hence the rough quality. Maybe one day I'll take the time to draw a bigger (and neater) version
