Self-love should be a priority in your life. Please, don’t feel bad about practicing self-love. It’s not selfish, it’s crucial. How can you truly love another person if you don’t love yourself? If you don’t give yourself validation? If you don’t have love within, you can’t give it away without. You’re just an empty vessel pretending to be full. 

You are the most important person in your life. Stop criticizing yourself, stop pointing out your flaws and imperfections that don’t even exist. Realize that you deserve your own love and affection. Realize that you are wonderful, you are loveable. Fall in love with yourself and the world will follow.

When you don’t love yourself, you attract toxic relationships. When you don’t love yourself, you depend on other people to make you feel a certain way. When you don’t love yourself, you become your worst enemy and sabotage your success and happiness.

Loving yourself is not vanity, it’s sanity. Make self love a priority in your  life, and your reality will reflect this new, empowering mindset.

So, the update is this:

So far absolutely no relief. While the injection was happening it felt like a fire was lit in my thigh and spread to my right knee. They had me (slowly of course) get to a sitting position. This has always been a painful task. It too was quite painful. Unless I leaned to the left (it is the right side that is messed up). They had me bend over slightly (as if grabbing something of a low-ish shelf). This too has been (and still is) a painful task. The last test to see if the injection worked was to stand upright (proper posture). This too a normally painful task. It is still painful. Now we have decided that the injection did not work. We also know that I'm not allergic to it and I'm not paralyzed. As for the other conditions... Well I'm most like going to have a bruise (I bruise easy). So let's just hope for no infection! I doubt I will deal with an infection. Now that I am home, (by the way thank you Danté for taking me and stuff), while sitting in the bed in the only way it doesn't hurt too bad, I have almost like a ring of fire sensation right at the hip joint. 🤷🏼‍♀️This hopefully helps us get me better faster! Looks like here I come surgery 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ pooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooop💩

Tomorrow I will be dealing with the last attempt of pain relief. My full diagnosis is: bulging disks from L2 through the L5 level. Herniated disk at the L5-S1 level with radial tear. Tarlov's cyst posterior to the sacrum. this is why I have been in constant chronic pain. Tomorrow, I go to Lower Keys Medical Center and will be doing our last attempt of pain management. This is a CT Scan Guided SI Joint Injection. In short, it is an injection that will block the pain and ease a lot of the pain I feel (best case); it could however, do nothing. Complications: infection; allergic/anaphylactic reaction; local reaction to steroid injection (usually >48 hours); transient numbness/paralysis (should resolve in minutes); transient difficulty voiding; bleeding. Conclusion: Sacroiliac joint injections under CT guidance are a sufficient treatment modality for pain and symptom control in patients suffering from pain due to active SI Joint pathologies. They are safe and effective and can be used as an alternative treatment of choice for patients with long-term SI Joint pain. While I prepare for that, I have an MRI with and without contrast (09/29/2020 at 11:00 AM) and I also have a follow-up appointment with Doctor Catana on the same day just at 1:15 PM. I am also waiting to find out when my appointment with the spine surgeon is.
