Joel doesn't hear Ellie's footsteps and turns around. She's standing still and staring at something.

Joel: Hey, what happened to walking?

He comes closer and they're now both looking at a billboard.

Joel: That girl looks like you

Ellie: No shit.. Did you see the guy?

Joel: cool bag

Ellie: Joel! This is us!

Joel looks closer and frowns: "The Last of Us"

Ellie: Seriously?

Joel patted her shoulder with one of his half-smiles, started walking and said: "C'mon, we need to keep going"

Ellie: But...

Joel: Ellie

Ellie, rolling her eyes with a frown: Alright!

She looked at the billboard one last time and followed Joel a bit reluctantly, but already determined to look for more about that familiar looking story.

Almost three years later I can finally say that my "little" story is finished and complete... And still can't believe how long it took me to write! I have a huge respect for writers. Fic or not.

I loved this process and want to give a huge thanks to the readers who decided to leave their feedback, it can be gold for some authors. For me, it was a game-changer 💜
