FAN MONSTER HUNTER ECOLOGY

An ephemeral sight - rey dau are known to migrate over thousands of miles to nest. Vast coastal forests here at the savanna's edge form sheltered nurseries for hatchlings.

This adult's formidable horns act both as display and potent tools to hunt via electroreception.

Juvenile dau are almost raptor-like in youth, adapted for a mobile lifestyle interspersed with quick, snappy hunts.

A heightened field of vision via their lack of orbital horns makes them terrifying forest hunters.

A pair of hungry juveniles hunt the coastal forests, eagerly anticipating the coming storm, which will bring prey out of hiding and greatly enrich their conductivity.
