dazai who doesn't explicitly tell the agency about his lover

how dazai acts when he has a crush/partner outside of the agency reader doesn't work at the agency nor is given a part if that makes sense?? this is dazai not explicitly telling anyone about her but when the agency picks up on it fluff fluff fluff, dazai in love

dazai who walks into the agency day after day, sometimes much later than others but still there nonetheless. walking in and smiling to himself more, his silly little crush on his mind. his silly little crush who he would not let be a quick hookup. he genuinely couldn't shake her out of his mind.

dazai who leaves work giddy one day, excited to go on another date. after completing all his work on his own so he could talk about the case to you. he actually read all the paperwork so he could tell you everything in it! kunikida is a fool to think he actually just started being responsible.

dazai who is seen checking his phone whenever he gets a notification and smiling as he types out something. smiling to himself when he sees your simple or complex messages. despite knowing how much you value someone who cares about work, he is willing to message you all day instead.

dazai who doesn't tell the agency immediately because he doesn't want them to think you are just a fling. he definitely had a bad reputation but he was willing to change everything for you.

dazai who doesn't notice that ranpo notices all of his new mannerisms. fridays must be a date night as he chooses to dress a bit nicer, adjusts his bolo tie before leaving and doesn't just throw his coat around like he usually does. choosing that carefully hanging his coat up would be better to prevent wrinkles.

dazai who only starts telling everyone about his special lady when he is on his phone (messaging you) and is teased by ranpo across the room.

"sooo what is her name, dazai?" the master detective asked as he sat on his desk, kicking his feet. upon hearing his name, osamu was instantly snapped out of his trance. "have i not told any of you?" he smiled. the rest of the agency looked up from their work, confused.

"i thought you gave up on the waitress ages ago?" yosano asked. "i did, months ago!" dazai responded as he walked towards the coat rack that he hung his coat up on. pulling out his wallet, he took out the polaroid of the both of you.

"that's [name]!" he shown the room, kunikida didn't seem to believe him until he took the photo out of dazai's hands. "do you not believe me?" dazai asked, fake offense in his voice.

the rest of the agency began to gather around the photo, in awe of the adorable picture. they had to admit, the moment in time of the two of your heads squished together with grins plastered on both faces.

"my belladonna.." he whispered to himself. "now that i think of it, there have been less suicide attempts.." atsushi pondered. "why would i do such a thing when i have her? at first when she declined a double suicide i was disappointed as she is the most beautiful woman ever but her personality is even prettier.."

this whole new attitude was incredibly different from everything they knew about dazai but if anyone deserved happiness, he did. and if he talks about you like this, then they had to be happy for the both of you.

dazai who after that day, brings a framed photo of the both of you and places it next to his laptop. a messy collage of small photos smashed into a frame. another polaroid with you dressed up with him on halloween. (the statue of liberty and a tourist). another photo of you dressed up at a fancy restaurant. there is even one where you both have messy hair and you have pressed countless kisses to his face with red lipstick on.

dazai who will never let you be in harm's way. he made a promise to protect people and if he could let you meet the man who made him a better person, he would in a heartbeat.

dazai who goes to yosano when you get sick for advice because he will NOT take any risks even if it is just a cold.

dazai who does not wipe off lipstick stains before work, and takes pride in having faint marks on his face from you.

dazai who can't wait to let the people who take care of him meet you, the reason he carries on.

dazai who is so happy when you get along with the rest of the agency. although when you and the agency girls are hanging out he becomes the third wheel.

dazai who talks about you all the time to kunikida, claiming he was an "expert boyfriend" and is more than happy to give kunikida relationship advice.

content: headcanons, probably an inaccurate depiction on what a scientist does, info about dazai’s credentials are vague bc idk how college works, kunikida mentioned twice

mad scientist!dazai started off as a research scientist for the port mafia before joining the armed detective agency

mad scientist!dazai has surprisingly good credentials. he graduated as an honors student in high school and was able to graduate college earlier than his peers, so the armed detective agency just couldn't turn him down!

mad scientist!dazai wears a white lab coat and long black rubber gloves. he also wears those typical goggles that mad scientists always wear in media (kunikida thinks they look dumb but dazai doesn't care)

mad scientist!dazai is a powerful asset in the agency along with ranpo, his inventions playing critical roles in missions

when mad scientist!dazai isn't busy creating new and powerful inventions to aid the agency, he's holed up in his lab working on a few personal projects, which kunikida is not pleased about. everyone including himself still wonders how the hell he's still holding this position (he's just too damn smart)

mad scientist!dazai who's had a few (a lot) failed inventions here and there. he once tried to make an invention that could transfer the memories of one person to another. the agency nearly burnt down

mad scientist!dazai takes random appliances and tries to make them "better" because he's too lazy, and for some reason it always work???

mad scientist!dazai tries to use his position as a "revered scientist" to flirt with women or to get a free drink from his favorite cafe. ends up backfiring so now he's racked up a huge tab.

mad scientist!dazai is the main reason why the agency's building gets black outs, it just couldn't take how strong his inventions are (he has to pay for electricity bills)

synopsis: shu yamino’s identity as a vampire is nearly exposed because of a tomato.

content: drabble (?) , vampire!shu , they’re in highschool , no shipping , ft luca ike and mysta (sorry kindreds 😔) , shu is in fact NOT a bloodsucker , shu is a vampire fruit bat , crack fic kinda?? , not proofread , im writing for their personas/characters NOT the actual people

shu and his family have been living amongst humans for hundreds and hundreds of years now, without any suspicions surrounding them. they have been one of the longest surviving vampire families and they plan to keep it that way. they are extremely cautious of vampire hunters and must move to the next city immediately to avoid being caught.

this is how shu ended up in his new high school, and surprisingly, he had an easy time adjusting. he made friends quickly, aced nearly every assignment and test given (ignoring the fact that he’s hundreds of years old uhh..), and participates in extra curricular activities.

things were going smooth for shu! until one day he decided to invite ike, mysta and luca over to finish a school project together.

it was the afternoon and the four boys looked as if they could faint any moment. luca had wrapped a towel around his neck to keep him from sweating, ike definitely wore a turtle neck on the wrong day and mysta was using his textbook as a fan

“jeez shu where’s you air conditioner?!” mysta groaned as he started to fan himself aggressively. despite being vampires, shu’s family couldn’t afford an air conditioner. instead, his mother bought a cheap electrical fan she found in a run-down furniture store.

seeing the three of them suffering from the extreme heat in his room started to make shu thirsty. i think there’s tomatoes in the fridge, he thought, ill try to excuse myself to get some.

“maybe there’s a better working fan in the living room somewhere,” shu smiled, trying hard not to make it look like he was lying, “i’ll be back in a second.”

shu stood up from the floor and walked out of his room, he could hair mysta’s pleas to hurry as he shut the door.

shu made his way over to the kitchen and opened the fridge. inside, he found one last tomato left. finally! he plopped himself in front of the open fridge and sank his fangs into the ripe tomato. if this wasn’t one of the best feelings ever, shu didn’t know what was. but soon this relaxing moment for shu would be over in seconds, as-

“hey shu! have you se-“ luca walks into the kitchen, stopping as he sees shu sat on the floor. awkwardly, shu turns his head around meeting his gaze. oh frick. the red juice from the pierced tomato dribbles down his chin and onto the tiled floor.

the loudest shriek ever made resonates around the room as luca began scrambling back. “SHU WHAT THE HELL??” his high pitched squealing combined with the most ear piercing yell alerted both mysta and ike into the kitchen.

“WHAT’S GOING ON?” mysta exclaims, ike following right behind him. luca’s arm trembles as he points towards shu’s direction, “sh-shu..he-“

“SPEAK DAMMIT-“

“HE’S A VAMPIRE!!”

the room goes silent for a few seconds.

shu sighs as he slowly stood up from the floor, placing the tomato back into its confines and closing the door shut. he walks towards the three other boys slowly in a calm manner, “listen, i can expl-“ shu is cut off by both mysta and luca’s screams as they desperately held onto each other for support.

oh come on.

ike groans loudly at the pair’s idiocy and turns towards them, “are you guys kidding iTS TOMATO JUICE!” the room, for the second time, goes silent for nearly a minute. it almost seemed like time had stopped

their blown out eyes began to relax as they slowly let go of each other.

“uh yeah, i-i was just kidding!”

“i totally knew that?!”

ike rubs his temples as he looks back at shu in shame, “i’m so sorry shu, these two are so dramatic.” shu smiles while shaking his head, “nah, you guys are good.”

thank you, ike! shu silently cheers as the boys head back into his room.

“did you at least get the fan, shu?”

“nope!”

after about 20 more minutes of studying and hard work between the group, the boys were ready to head back home. shu waved the others goodbye as the three of them turned the street.

phew, i’m so glad that didn’t escalate too quick, shu thought to himself as he leaned against the doorframe, i should play valorant.

and with that, shu’s totally normal average teenager life can continue without any slip-ups!

vox does anything and everything he can to help the others

he’ll go out of his way to search for resources or will accompany others to find them

he’s willing to be self-sacrificing, giving things to others instead of keeping things for himself.

and if he’s not helping others with certain tasks, he’s advising them on what/what not to do

vox is not afraid of a fight if it means keeping the group safe from harm. he’s most likely to prioritize the well-being of others rather than himself.

ike eveland

idealistic , gentle , level-headed

“th-there’s something here! i just don’t know what..”

ike is among the first to realize that there’s something wrong with the surrounding area. warning the others frantically

his immediate course of action is protection. make sure everything is in check, secure everything, take extra measures, etc.

he encourages others to not make any rash decisions, although his complaints fall under deaf ears

despite this, he’s caring towards his group and will do whatever he thinks is right for the people around him

when faced against danger, ike is not afraid to fight even if it ends up hurting or injuring himself.

shu yamino

intelligent , reliable , easygoing

“everything’s gonna turn out fine, ill be here to help.”

shu comes off skeptical about the whole situation, believing that the so-called thing they saw in the forest was purely something they had made up

but as the night progresses more and more, shu starts to suspect that the group might be right

shu provides support to those who are in need of it. being the literal embodiment of “ask and you shall receive.”

need someone to fix the lights? he’s there. someone to scout with? he’s already out the door.

shu actively tries to avoid danger as much as he possibly can. but if forced to, he will instead think up a plan that involves him and the others coming out unscathed.

he wants no problems at all and is fixed on trying to get everyone and himself to safety.

luca kaneshiro

mischievous , energetic , sweet

“was i the only one that saw that?!”

luca’s gut tells him right away that something isn’t right.

the spooky atmosphere, the sinister glow of the moon and the sense of impending doom hits him in all the wrong ways

much like vox, he’s action oriented

he’s focused on getting everyone out of here, going out to find help from someone

he’s aware of his surroundings and his gut feelings are almost always right

his fight or flight is mostly mixed

he can put up a decent fight but if he is overpowered, has no problem of withdrawing and fleeing from the fight.
