Today, I made this:
(this is a gift link)
It was delicious almost exactly as described! I chose oregano and parsley for the herbs and sub'd vegan feta crumbles because of lactose intolerance.
But the oven had some burnt cheese (I made a pizza last night) on the bottom which then burned up even more and filled the house with smoke. I turned on the exhaust fan but it was too late-- now my hair and clothes reek of smoke.
So, I would advise you to clean your oven of any burnt cheese before attempting this recipe.

Yesterday morning, I complained to @bookgeekgrrl about having to work and she said something like, "I just want to boop people on Tumblr all day."
I thought it was a cute euphemism! I didn't log on to Tumblr until right before I went to bed! I had no idea the boops were real!
I missed the whole damn thing.

March Wrap-up
Well, those New Year's Resolutions were put to the test in March. Mostly, I failed to live up to my goals. I read a ton of junk books and I shopped online a lot. I didn't wait and think about it but instead just bought bought bought and read read read. I don't really regret anything, because the shit I bought is cute and the books were entertaining enough for my busy brain.
I read 26 books in March, most of them motorcycle club romance novels not really worth talking about. But! Two books really stood out.
Come Closer by Sara Gran
Whoa. Published in 2003, I had never heard about this book until recently. It's good. Real good. Is a woman slowly succumbing to demonic possession or is she just losing her mind? Dark, twisty, occasionally horrifying, I sped through this book in an afternoon. 5 stars.
The Salt Grows Heavy by Cassandra Khaw
I was not expecting to be moved by a horror novel featuring a killer mermaid and a frankenstein's monster. But moved I was! I totally fell in love with the characters as they fell in love with each other. I swooned but don't get me wrong, the book is gruesome and scary. It really packs an emotional punch to the face. I loved it. 5 stars.

Some sales guy emailed me at work with "Hi mfred! Can you tell me who at your library manages web content?"
It's me. I'm the "Web Librarian". It's my job title. So this guy knew enough to get my (feminine-sounding, hard to spell) name right but not my job title?
I think I'm getting negged by a cold call.
