I cried in Wedding Peach when Daisy and Lily wee attacking Momoko because it seemed like they weren't brainwashed and were really blaming her at first.

How I Became Extroverted
When I was a completely shy and introverted girl (especially as a new student), I was also watching Heartcatch Pretty Cure! I noticed that Tsubomi was a lot like me; she was shy, introverted, and a new student to the school.
As my life and the show progressed, and Tsubomi started losing signs of her shy self and said she would change, I was becoming more social and extroverted, and learned this was because of Heartcatch, especially Tsubomi.

When I was in the fourth grade, I saw my first anime. It was called Wedding Peach, I think? I watched it with my brother and I remember waiting each week for a new episode. That's one of my fondest memories with him. No matter how lame the show might have actually been, watching those girls transform and beat up the devils was really cool.

I really related to the Bad End Generals from Smile precure. I know what it's like to be a target to others for bullying and to have gone without friends. I felt so happy to see the precure give understanding to them and Cure Happy agreeing to be their friend and comforting them. Even if people are different, doesn't mean they're undeserving of friendship or they are deserving bullying.

Throughout eleven years of being a fan, and about three of downright being a complete enthusiast, magical girls have taught me so much. The lesson that is undoubtedly the most important thing I've learned from this subgenre, though, is that there are many ways of being a girl. I am just as much of a woman whether I am straight or nonstraight, whether I wear dresses or baggy tee shirts, whether I am quiet and demure or loud and bold. I am a girl, and that is not only okay... that's wonderful.

It was through a Sailor Moon forum, the Tower of Time, that I met someone who would go on to become one of my very best friends, as well as many other wonderful people, and I am forever grateful for this.

I watched HeartCatch PreCure at a time when I was incredibly introverted, doubted myself constantly, was rekindling my love of fashion, and coming back to finding my identity as a girl. Every single aspect of the story hit home to me, and changed my entire outlook on life. The series taught me to embrace my femininity and accept who I truly am. From everything I learned from HeartCatch, I became more confident, learned to make friends, and found passions I never knew I had. I'm forever grateful.

I was the only kid at school who liked Sailor Moon, and I was made fun of for it. Then I got the Internet at home and found tons of people just like me who loved the show. As time went on and the anime boom happened, I realized just how much of an impact this show had -- and that I definitely wasn't alone after all.
