Artists Needed for Charity SCP Project!

We're making an SCP-themed tarot deck for charity and we need your help! Every helping hand is one massive step towards making this deck a reality. Our ultimate goal is to support RAINN and The Kidney Cancer Association with 100% of the profits made from the sales of this bound-to-be-awesome tarot deck.

With the majority of 78 cards still needing claimed and a whole multiverse of SCP's and Tales to choose from, there's going to be something you'll love to draw. There's always the option to collaborate with other amazing artists as well!

Calling SCP Artists!

To introduce ourselves to the SCP fandom, hello! We are ObscureFandom and we create tarot decks to raise money for charity! We've already done one deck and are finally ready to start our newest and biggest project: an SCP Tarot Deck!Our chosen charities this time are RAINN and the Kidney Cancer Association with a 50/50 split just like our last tarot deck. As always, 100% of our profits are donated to these charities.

Sporting 78 cards, we need as many artists and volunteers as we can get! Thanks to the Creative Commons license that the SCP Wiki operates under, every article on the SCP Wiki is able to be used with credit. All artists and authors will of course be credited in a booklet included with the deck!

Charity SCP Tarot Deck Seeking Artists!

We're making an SCP Foundation based tarot deck in support of RAINN and the Kidney Cancer Association and we need your help to make it!

With 78 cards, we need as much help as we can get to make this deck a reality. Artists are the very backbone of our projects and we wouldn't be here without you. In addition to volunteering for two amazing causes, you will be credited in the booklet included with every deck. Reference letters will also be provided to those wanting them for school or work! We have many cards and even more SCP's to pick from, there's bound to be something for everyone!

An Overdue Update!

So it's been a while! The second round of sales is completed with all the packages being sent out last week. Thank you everyone for your patience and support. Unfortunately, there was no profit to donate after shipping, money having gone into the negatives that needed to be paid out of pocket. Thankfully it wasn't much, only about $25.

Fortunately! We do have five extra decks 👀

will you ever consider reprinting the marble hornets deck in the future at all??? i absolutely loved it but didnt have the money to get it when it was in stock

It's hard to say. We want to stick by the fact that it's a limited edition item as much as we can. There's no guarantee on whether or not we will do a reprint.

What are the chances of y’all ever making a CATS the musical tarot deck? Specifically the Broadway musical. Nothing ever happened in 2019. Definitely not something that make the semi-canon (dependent on the cast) ship of Tuggoffelees… not. Exist. (I’m fine. I’m totally fine.)

Some questions will have to be asked as to how extensive the fandom is for the original CATS Broadway musical plus how many artists would be willing to draw for it. Definitely not the movie. Never. Not ever.

Anyway, mainly came here to ask if you guys would ever think about contacting Rusty Quil to ask about a creating a Magnus Archives tarot deck?

A Magnus Archives tarot deck would be really awesome! It's definitely going to be a question of whether or not there's enough content to create 78 cards with. We'll definitely look into it!!

do you think you would ever make a creepypasta deck, one with Jeff the Killer, Toby, BEN DROWNED, Eyeless Jack, ect? I personally think it would be really cool and would definitely buy one!

We have discussed it before! Unfortunately, no matter the subject of our next decks, we have to follow copyright law. Due to how complex creepypasta copyright is, we won't be making one. Some notable creepypasta creators have completely separated from the fandom, are anonymous, or are problematic. We would have to search for every creator to get permission from them to use their character. We have plenty of other cool ideas being thrown in the ring though!

To join in on future projects, the first invites and individuals to know will always be within our Discord server, shortly before being announced elsewhere.

Yesterday the shipment of all the decks finally arrived! We got right to work, packing 52 ready to go for the first batch out. 70 left to go! If you have yet to receive a tracking notification, know that it is coming soon!

THE DECKS ARE COMING!

This has taken a very long time, much longer than expected, but we are finally getting the decks from the manufacturer! As soon as they're received, we will immediately start getting to work on packaging them and hauling them off to the post office for shipping to all of you who ordered them. Thank you guys so much for your patience during what has been the most silent and nerve-wracking time throughout this whole process. Some pictures will be posted here once the decks arrive!

SHIPPING ANNOUNCEMENT

This screenshot may have been from a while ago, but we are still excitedly waiting for the decks to be finished and shipped!

However, there is likely to be a delay by a week or two, as I will, coincidentally, be having top surgery not very long before the estimated delivery and will be recovering. Not to worry, you will have your deck! It's just going to take a little while longer than anticipated.

On the project Discord (found in Tumblr bio), packaging of orders will occasionally be streamed over voice chat for a nice hang-out spot! Feel free to join and chat and listen to music!

MANUFACTURING IS UNDERWAY!

This campaign has been insanely successful and being able to move into the next stage is incredible! 122 orders were made in the span of just a month!

Now begins a whole lot of waiting for both us volunteers and those who have ordered their own decks. The turnaround time from the manufacturer, ShuffledInk, is about 3-4 weeks for this amount. Once the shipment of all the decks is received, it may take a week or two for them to be packaged and shipped. Those outside of the US are looking at longer shipping times due to international shipping and customs.

For in-depth looks at the shipping process, feel free to join our Discord! The packaging process may even be done over voice chat to help with boredom so all are welcome to join in and cut down the boredom and goof around and generally have a good time!
