My OC Blue as a Pokemon trainer.

This was supposed to be for an OC x Pokémon collab. I missed the deadline - by two weeks T.T. Still finished it, of course.

Blue usually has wings. For this, I gave her a Vivillon variant based on a Blue Morpho butterfly. She's a fairy type trainer, and I loved designing her outfit for this.

I tried my hand at cel shade once more. I randomly do that once a year. Need to do it more often. Cel shade somehow demands more patience, and a steadier hand, than my usual more painted/ blended rendering style. Even though it is faster. Make it make sense, please.

Some eye-candy for all of you <3 My OC Sheri once more, taking a break during a workout session. I drew her once before earlier this year, with her girlfirend Jes. This was done for the "Muscular Women" collab on Instagram. Sheri is one of my Star Wars OCs - the only one I have current full-body art for. She's also the first full Star Wars OC that's not force-sensitive - my previous ones were all Jedi or Sith. Yes, Sheri is that buff. It's just not noticeable when she's fully dressed. I'm currently working on a character sheet for her, which may include a lore dump. I play the current incarnation of Sheri in a Star Wars TTRPG campaign that takes place in the Clone Wars Era. She was originally conceived and designed in 2015 or 2016 for another Star Wars TTRPG campaign that wasn't to be. My spouse, who DMs, told me I could use her for the new one, which started in early 2024 and is currently on hiatus.

I was unsure if I even want to post this one - I don't draw men often. This is Rurethil's on-again off-again lover. He oficially goes by Mekaisto. Mekaisto's a rogue, and like Rurethil, he's not quite what he seems to be. He's the father of Myka, one of Rurethil's three daughters. Their relationship is complicated, not least because Mekaisto's mother is vehemently against it. Mekaisto is torn between what his heart wants, a life with Rurethil, the outcast, and his loyalty to his powerful mother. He works as his mother's problem-solver, doing assignments she can never officially acgnowledge, for fear of her reputation. Mekaisto himself has a temper, and he and Rurethil fight often. He feels like an outcast in his own family because of the secrecy required of him, desperatly wanting someone to accept him as he is and to understand him. He also wants for Rurethil and his mother to make peace - a seemingly unattainable goal. Mekaisto swore himself to the "problem solver"/ personal assassin role before he could fully understand what that would mean for his long, long life. He regrets it now, but feels compelled to honor his commitment.

The song "Hand of Sorrow" by Within Temptation is my theme song for him.

I've been re-watching "Rebels" lately and fell in love with Sabine all over again. She's just so cool!

I thought I'd be immune to it on a re-watch, but certain scenes had me bawl like a baby.

The idea of her spray-painting the camera came to me under the shower. I'm surprised I couldn't find any fanart of her doing that, to be honest.

It took me forever to get her chestplate right. And her paint gun. And of course I had to do a version with the helmet. Even though she seems very averse to keeping it on. She's Din Djarin's opposite, in that regard. Seriously, she takes it off in situations where it should DEFINITELY stay on. Not to speak of her losing the helmet md-battle sometimes. I thought these sealed to the suit?

This is currently my wallpaper. One of the benefits of being an artist is that you can draw your own.

Late entry to a 600 follower DTIYS on Insta. I like the OC's design, and this was fun to draw.

The balloons were part of the prompt, so I did include them. In my mind, she's preparing for a party.

I tried something new, and added a paper texture to the finished piece. I don't know how I feel about the effect yet.

Sheri's heart took a leap of joy the moment she spotted Jess waiting in their usual spot. At first glance, she looked unharmed, her white cuirass just a little scorched.

Jess looked up almost immediately, as if sensing the blonde woman's presence. Her face lit up. "Sheri", she whispered.

Sheri strode towards the taller woman, hiding her relief behind her usual confident stride. Jess leaned in, expecting a kiss. Sheri responded by resting her forehead against her lover's.

"You ALWAYS do that", Jess commented with slight exasperation. Sheri just smiled, tilting up her head and giving her beloved the kiss she had been waiting for.

This took a long time to do. Profiles are hard.

A random poem I wrote after hearing the phrase "beware the hawks of vengeance" from my DM/ spouse before the hiatus of that TTRPG campaign. Make of it what you will.

How to use groups as an artist, writer, or any other creator:

You can join as many groups as you’d like, they’re fantastic for growing your blog and getting your works out there (honestly one of the best features tumblr has added since DM’s) But I’ve seen a lot of people a little confused on how to properly use them.

When you join a group an icon appears at the bottom tab, clicking on it brings you to a dashboard that is a reverse chronological feed of what people post in these groups. In the right hand tab you can click on each group to see it specifically (when on a group page there is a mute button in the top right hand corner).

When it comes to sharing your posts in groups I’ve seen a lot of people manually going into each group and making the same post again and again, in an attempt to share their artwork or fic to as many groups as they can.

You don’t have to do this, there is a cross posting function.

Repeat for all the groups you’d like to share your post in.

(I would appreciate the reblog as I’ve talked with several other writers and artists on tumblr and they’ve all seems rather confused on how to use groups)

It's Chibi time again! The campaign I play in gained some more reoccuring NPCs we need minis for.

Introducing Jed'ath, the Githyanki knight with a magic Hat of Holding. My first time ever drawing a Gith.

The runes on his sword are part of the oath the knights swear on their queen - "I'm her unsheathed blade" on the front and "Eternal may she reign" on the back.

He was fun to draw, once I figured out the facial structure. There definitely was a stage where he looked like Gollum.

One picture, two different shading styles!

Remember Lythis? Since her last art was from 2019, it was high time for a redesign in my new-and-improved style. I added a LOT of details, especially in her top and staff.

This is her ceremonial outfit, for adventuring, Lythis wears something less ornate (but is still barefoot most of the time).

Mini lore dump:

Lythis was created because of a meme going around at the time, calling Thrall "Orc Jesus". This got me onto the whole concept of Azeroth's Gods having children. I know about Cenarius, but other than that...

Since I'm obsessed with Night Elves, Daughter of Elune it was. So...

Lythis is believed to be a "blessed soul", getting reborn again and again after she dies. In ancient times, this gave her a special role in the Temple. Nowadays, she's "just" a Priestess. The High Priestesses of the past thought it a bad idea to give power to someone whose only qualification is "being born with a moon birthmark" (and other signs, like picking out things a past incarnation owned). Lythis retains some memories of her past lives, this being more intense when she is a child. As she grows, those memories slowly fade into the background, although she can recall them if she needs to. Knowing she'll get reborn makes her reckless at times, and more likely to sacrifice her own life for friends. Lyhtis' current group of companions do their best to dissuade her from this, since they want the Lythis they know to stick around.

On average, past incarnations of Lythis died young. Partly due to the recklessness mentioned, partly due to her being a target at times. Some people do believe her to have a special connection to Elune, and that she is more likely to answer Lythis' prayers. She's traditionally associated with the smaller moon of Azeroth, the Blue Child.

Gabriel, one of the women that raised my little Blue, writing a letter to her long-lost friend/ partner/ co-parent Lily. The picture was inspired by the Indigo Girls' song "Ghost". This is my first time drawing Gabriel, and my first time drawing something so soft, bordering on Shoujo-style. What do you think? Like it or not?

I can finally share this one! Delaney on Ice here was done for a collaboration over on my Instagram. I finished her in the first week of January, but had to wait for the collab to go up.

I struggled with the pose a bit, and I love the colors. Laney is usually pretty autumn-themed, so she offers a nice contrast here. And no, her butt isn't super big, the skirt is just flaring out <3

Presenting art I owed zeugsii_art on Insta for a long time, from my last DTIYS contest. I ran into a major art block with the first version of this one. The version you see here is my second attempt, which luckily worked out.

The character it not mine, the art is. This is Luna, a half vampire fire sorceress. I was given her basic design, a few notes, and a bit of backstory. I designed the outfit, the background, and changed her hair from all red to a reverse fire ombre. Luckily, Luna's creator loved it <3
