Frustrated and not wanting to spend anymore time anywhere near Triss goes off alone to follow the lead. Triss concerned, follows Yennefer despite Yen’s hostility. Not wanting her to get hurt. The come across an entity that makes Yen face her worst nightmares.

This is angsty and Triss does all she can to help Yen out.

Shadowheart and Tav (Asheera) get captured and held at the goblin camp. Asheera is badly injured and mostly unconscious for the majority of the fic. Shadowheart the only conscious one is tortured and taunted for days,weeks,months… I’m not entirely sure they are in their for a while. She is the only thing keeping Asheera from death. Will they get rescued or will Shadowheart’s will break first. 

WARNING: This is very dark and horrific. There is torture.  I don’t remember how vivid the author wrote it so if i need to put a better warning on this let me know. 

There is a lots of mind games. This fic definitely falls on my list of depressing fics i’ve read before. The fic in the series does get a little softer before it throws you in the deep end again. I mean the deep deep deep end.

When Sana and Mina who have been a couple for a while at that point take the test everything seems fine. Until Sana presents first into a rank that was incorrectly predicted by this test. They slowly lose hope in the future. 

This is a little bit of a whirlwind to me. The fic is mainly about Sana and Mina but there are clips of a subplot with Momo, Jeongyeon, and Nayeon.

The MC (Kieran) was tricked into becoming a vampire by an ex-girlfriend. She is rescued by Miranda and lives with Donna while learning to become a vampire. Though most of the lords don’t really trust Miranda they still had to follow her or appear that way. In the end all they want are happy lifes safe and away from the fear of Miranda’s growing instability (read insanity).

This is incredibly similar to Ghost in Your Arms i’ve read through them both enough to believe there is a decent size difference. So i’d recommend this if you are like me and want the same topics but with a slightly different story. While Lyubov has had experience with vampirism Keiran is entirely new to it. The stories both have a different twist and version of their MC’s vampiric powers which is nice to explore.

Side note: maybe one day ill add a page about my favorite versions of vampirism and some other AU. Though I don’t really consider vampirism an AU in this case.

SO... I had originally planned to try and make more regular recommendation updates. BUT, then I started playing Witcher 3 and became obbsessed with Yen and Triss.
