Making a post on this blog for the first time in years only to say: do not buy the sims 4. It has become practically unplayable now. I’d make a detailed list of all the problems it has had since the latest updates with the grim reaper event and upcoming life and death expansion but I’m not even sure how to explain all the issues. It’s just… well, EA has pretty much killed this game by milking this cash cow to death. I am playing with mods but I’m sure it would play the same or even worse without them. Had to use MCCC to turn off adoption notifications because I am sure the adoption spree was affecting my gameplay as my sims would just stand around while time passed by not continuing with their queued actions until the adoption notifications rolled in. And then I had to turn off child adoptions for all households in neighborhood stories because the Landgraabs became a full household just by way of adoptions!!! Heck, may even have to turn off neighborhood stories altogether. And I have a save that my sim went into labor at the spice festival but trying to send her to the hospital to have her baby sent it into an error that the game can’t be opened. And that was the one sim I was using to do the grim reaper event so like if this current file actually saves (which is likely to not happen because last night after spending a long time supposedly saving, it crashed and never saved), I might just never open the game ever again it’s that bad

I got a new laptop that runs my game beautifully... If only Windows 10 would stop restarting in the middle of my game. 😐😑😤

My stupid game decided because I had two alien babies born within hours of each other that they should occupy the same space... And it crashed when I went into build mode to fix it. I spend more time waiting for loading screens because of constantly opening and closing my game when it stops working. This is insanity

I have not had Sims 3 with Seasons for as long as I’ve had Sims 4 along with Get to Work and I’ve already seen three aliens in the Sims 3... none in the Sims 4

I accidentally bought Cats and Dogs in 64 bit when my backwards compatible computer is running 32 bit and my game has turned so glitchy since. Bella is supposed to be holding a cat, Cassandra and Alexander (and Cassandra’s baby) aren’t showing up, just eyes, and Summer and Johnny are fusing with their baby. Btw, that old man in yellow is Cassandra’s husband and baby daddy and he’s stuck in the Goth’s front yard so I guess he’ll die *shrugs*

coming across the Heckings while playing is... strange... Just look:

one save file where they both showed up at Skye Fitness (I caption it hey bae)

and this was today while playing as the Goths in my townie save... they worship chess? I know they’re doing push ups but come on
