I'm very proud of my progress! The 2022 version was not my best drawing that year, but it's still great to see how much I've improved over two years! Especially my choice of colors, I didn't expect it to change so much lol

It's a new year 🥳! Here's my art recap for 2023! Got a new PC and compared to my laptop the color accuracy is actually good! And I could work with bigger canvases and experiment more since I had more storage space for bigger works!

I focused a lot on different rendering techniques since I was struggling with how exactly I want to do it. This year, I think I'll focus on coloring styles.

Also maybe I'll finally draw proper backgrounds this year. I was going to draw a big piece for Halloween with my OCs in a church setting, but unfortunately life stuff happened and I was completely demotivated that entire month 😔 I definitely want to finish it though so I'll probably go back to old WIPs and actually finish those! Excited to see what 2024 will bring!

what's something you'd love to see explored in the horror genre, something never done before?

I think that like proper horror animation hasnt been done in a WHILE and I think its time to return to that, hopefully the junji ito adult swim series kicks that off because you can literally make some of the scariest visuals with animation and I am so surprised as to how it hasnt been done properly in SO LONG
