I've been indulging other blogs in my blogroll, not excited about getting anyone's hopes up with following back here in case she's flaked out on me for good.

"My! Aren't you a mad scientist!" Her statement, tone playful in its own right, was promptly followed by a chuckle.

"Well, whatever form he's taken now, I hope he's found an appropriate spot to get comfortable and enjoy his vacation."

Midna then paused for a moment, tilting her head in thought. There may have been some spells of her own that crossed her mind, ones that could reverse any adverse effects of any more of Zelda's experimenting. Unfortunately, given the history of how light dwellers tend to react to such magic, she wasn't even sure if voicing such an offer was a wise decision.... at least, not yet. Still, at the very least, there may have been the temptation of some entertainment to be had should the two put their heads together.

"Maybe I could... stick around? I don't know much about potion making myself, but I'm sure we could figure something out. Two heads are better than one, right?"

"Well... sort of."

Was there a slight hint of mischief in her tone? Maybe.

"After turning him into a myriad of other animalistic creatures in the process. I gave him a month off, fully paid as compensation for allowing me to test the first potion on him. And then the second... and the third..."

She shook her head.

"But really, who's counting?"
