Hello!
As usual, my New Year's resolutions fall apart. For me, they always have. Every year I tell myself that I'm going to permanently change something about my life, but I never seem to make it out of that stage of "telling myself to change," and unfortunately, I am very easy to disobey.
I've had the flu for about five days now, so I've had a lot of time to lie in bed and do nothing and think. Eventually, after passing through a lot of Valentine's Day FOMO and worry about schoolwork, my thoughts landed upon my resolutions and their failures, which I'd forgotten all about. I began to wonder whether I could start again. I'd need a new system, though.
I chose to start a Tumblr blog. Every day I'll post a couple of short updates about my goals, no matter how well I'm maintaining them. In theory, the illusion of a potential audience should keep me posting every day, and posting every day should keep my goals on my mind. In practice? Who knows! I guess I'll just have to see.
Since I'm still sick, I've decided to start with the easy resolutions that I can make some headway on while in bed. These are:
