The Princess of Pixie Hollow and the Warden of the Winter Woods

Another Clarion and Milori art! Inspired by Chapter 19's Winter Ball❄️ Oh, how I love them so much!💛 On another note, I had to make a design for Milori's wings out of my own imagination! I picture his wings to be like the marks of skates on ice, and in certain times, it would be like the graceful cracks on the glaciers that he dutifully guards during his time as a warden. Just a headcanon, though! And of course, I'll continue daydreaming about Wings of Starlight by @/allisonhsaft on Instagram!✨ There's still so many things scenes I want to draw, so many moments I'd love to storyboard as well! But alas, I'm still drowning in my thesis film production 💔 Wings of Starlight really is my rest during these stressful times.

So excited to have Disney Fairies literature back, and they couldn’t have picked a better author. It was lovely to be transported back to Pixie Hollow! 💜💚

Clarion and Milori 🌸❄️

I'm currently reading through 'Wings of Starlight' by Allison Saft. I'm over half-way through, and some of the scenes left vivid images in my mind that I felt like painting.

Most of my feelings on this book boil down to: I can't believe this book exists and I'm so happy it does. I love the Tinkerbell movies, and 'Secret of the Wings' is one of the best. Let's be honest, the whole Clarion/Milori backstory is sort of the highlight of that film, and it's entirety takes up maybe two minutes of screentime. Never expected to be getting more of that story, and I'm very happy that we are!

The Fairies world also works really well in a novel, so... here's hoping we get more!

I may have been 18 when this movie originally came out, but I am a sucker for twin stories and these two are why I adored it though.

Still haven’t finished the book since I have been getting through a commission queue, but I had to draw them.

Does this go here? I’ve been thinking about Queen Clarion and Lord Milori incessantly after the book announcement and… well, this was the result. Art block made this take much longer than I’d like, but I’m quite proud!
