i dont want this post to be like one of those "if you arent talking about this then you're evil" moral ocd posts but. i gotta talk about this.

i only just today heard about Kumanjayi White, a 24 year old disabled Warlpiri man who was killed by northern territory police on May 27th. He was handcuffed and forced to the ground, face down, with an officers knee on his neck. He was walking around a grocery store, by himself. A worker at the grocery store described him, saying, "One look and you can tell he's got special needs".

A poor and disabled Aboriginal man was killed in the northern territory and i can't help but notice the similarities to George Floyd. Murdered in a public place, knee on the back of his neck. Only difference is i havent heard a word about this anywhere, in the news or otherwise, since it occured 2 and a half fucking weeks ago. where's the anger? i dont like making political posts, i hope this doesnt break containment its just. god its fucking pissing me off right now.

Halsin chuckled to himself as he continued to watch, or trying to watch, Karlach having her ear against his 28 weeks belly. Her hands gently moved against his stomach, face in full focus and tongue poked out.

The former druid watched as she turned her head to have her other ear against his belly to hear their cubs move or feel their kicks.

Ever since Halsin told Karlach that he was expecting their cub, she was over the moon about being a mum.

She spoiled Halsin, even when Halsin told her not to fret about him but he secretly loved the attention, she took everything in stride by taking over Halsin’s duties with the children whenever he was unwell in the mornings or sick.

The tiefling loved his belly lots. She would listen to the cub, read stories, talk to them about her parents, and sometimes sing to the baby.

“I think they’re asleep, Karlach.”

Karlach pouted. “Aw! Oh, well guess they-“

Both of them paused when they felt it.

A kick.

Karlach squealed in excitement after feeling the little feet kicked against her palm.

“Ah! Hello there my baby bean, I’m so excited to see you when you get here!”

I wish they'd let Wyll be angry, specifically: angry for himself, not just for other people. I wish they'd let him yell at his dad. I wish they'd let the player tell Wyll that it's okay to love your dad but still feel hurt and betrayed by him. Let the guy vent all that pent up negative emotion for goodness sake. Give him a scene or three where Theo Solomon could flex his voice acting skills.

The Reluctant Princess

Based on The Reluctant Bride 1866 by Auguste Toulmouche✨ a friend of mine suggested this prompt, and really popped off with this concept. The saddest part sleeping beauty is when her godmother‘s take her to the castle and prepare her to be a princess. They try to reassure her but she has just been stripped of her identity and agency. She never wanted to be a princess. So I have Flora, giving her a reassuring kiss on the forehead, Fauna imagining out loud what it would be like to be a princess, and Merryweather is the only one who actually sees Briar Rose’s sorrows and inner turmoil. I also added another master copy as a tapestry, (an illustration of Maleficent by Eyvind Earle) and it hangs quite literally over Aurora and adds an extra layer of foreboding.🖤 I stayed up till four in the morning working on this.🤠😂 It took me 13 hours total to finish it.
