Hi folks, Pinky here. I'm letting @babycharmander post this message on my behalf since I don't feel comfortable being on Tumblr myself at the moment.

Today, a writer for Are You Afraid of the Lake Monster? Volume 1 deleted the work by accident. The anthology will be reuploaded in a few days, with the writer's contributions removed at their request. I am posting this since I have fallen out of contact with some of the other contributors to the anthology and I hope this message spreads so that they know what's going on. In addition, I'd like for your support/comments/kudos etc. once the anthology is reposted since this was a big project for all of us. <3

Comm Ownership Transfer

Due to personal reasons, the ownership of this sideblog/comm is changing to @babycharmander. This comm will still function an archive, and thus is not likely to be updated past this point.

To clarify, BC will not have access to the email addresses of participants, nor will they have moderator/admin rights/ownership of the Midnight at Whispering Rock AO3 collection. I will maintain full ownership of the AO3 collection.

Closing Thoughts

It’s been a few days since gift reveals, so I figured I would make some closing thoughts.

It’s been amazing and uplifting seeing all the positivity and buzz being shared around the community and folks spreading love for each other’s fanworks. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. <3

Outside of some small Discord Secret Santas, this has been my first time running a real, big exchange on AO3 with all the bells and whistles. Despite being a massive undertaking, it was worth it and I learned a hell of a lot! There are too many names to list here, but thank you to everyone that participated, gave me feedback on my ruleset, and helped out with setup!

I’m not sure if I will run Midnight at Whispering Rock again in the future. There are a lot of exchange ideas that I have buzzing in my head, and there’s no telling what the future might hold.

For now, this Tumblr will serve as an archive of comms, updates, announcements, etc. It will probably not be updated past this point unless I decide to run Midnight at Whispering Rock again. If you’re interested in what I’m up to personally, you can find me over at @pinkygrocket. I may also make a sideblog dedicated to posting other’s events/exchanges that involve Psychonauts, if that’s something you all would be into.

I wanted to do a comic but life said “get burnt out” so I thought a fun blurb attached to a Comic Cover would be a good compromise 😂 had a lot of fun designing some nice clothes for these old folks who are having a totally normal time all the time.
