I’m sorry but as much as I love Georgie in S3 and S5, she made me fucking livid in S4. Sure, her choice to break away from Jon once she realizes that Jon is on such a constant path to self-destruction that he’ll bring down everyone else close to him down with him makes sense, but the fact that she chose to leave Jon the MOMENT he woke up was one of the reasons why Jon became so self-destructive in the first place in S4.Yes, Jon made his choice to become an avatar of the Eye during his coma, but when the alternative is to literally die, is that a fair enough choice? He’s been backed into a corner and clings to the very human desire to live, waking up from a 6 month coma after saving the world. He wakes up to his ex girlfriend and very close friend, who had been willing to lie to police for him, who had stuck with him for SIX MONTHS, and who decides yes, NOW should be the time to leave Jon. Not when Jon was already clearly inhuman when he forced her to answer a question she would have never answered. Not when he survived a literal building falling on top of him and he was all but braindead, heart unbeating and lips unmoving but brain activity alive and well. She decides the moment Jon wakes up to leave him, and it is that very moment that Jon gets it in his head that he is unworthy of trust and love and companionship because the one friend he fell back on has left him. Because she marked him a monster the moment he opened his eyes, and that remains with him until Martin sinks his blade in Jon’s chest.
