Yeah this always confused me because apparently one of the prescriptions I was taking could be addictive. And like yeah I wanted to take it everyday so I wouldn’t be in pain. But now I haven’t been having much pain so I haven’t been taking it. And when I was taking it I would forget to take it sometimes.
How was my doctor like "okay we'll try ADHD medication but we gotta be careful cause it's addictive" when I'm going through my day like "shit I forgot my meds. Shit I forgot my meds. Shit I forgot my meds. Shit I f

So the doctor ordered labs but since I haven’t met my deductible, it would be like $700 to get them done and I don’t have that money. So basically this was a bust and I wasted the uber ride money and copay. :/
I finally have an appointment with a rheumatologist on Friday. I’m hoping I can possibly get some answers about why my joints hurt all the time.

I don't know why but my right shoulder has been hurting for days and I can't think of what could have caused it. I'm not sure if its a muscle thing or my possible arthritis but I want it to stop. I'm going to my PCP tomorrow but I don't want to mention it to her cuz I know that she will just schedule me for an x-ray and I don't think its necessarily something that would show up on an x-ray so its just going to cost me more money in the long run.

fat culture is being told "being fat isn't a disability" when you talk about being fat and disabled because people can't fathom that we can be both so they just assume we're saying fatness is a disability.

Remember that it is officially disability pride month now. it is just as important as lgbtq+ pride month. we exist. we are being hurt by the system as it is now. we will not be silenced or placated. disabled is not a bad word.
