Loreto Echague, Rubi (2004).
The actor Miguel Pizarro portrays Loreto Echague, a fashion designer who designs regular clothing but also wedding dresses. Loreto is Rubi’s (antagonist) best friend, and confidant. Rubi trusts Loreto and usually persuades him to help in her evil plans. Loreto is the proud owner of a chihuahua, who is often dressed in similar outfits to his. We can see in this picture that Loreto is well dressed and is also wearing a scarf. His occupation is the typical profession gay characters have in novelas. When he does show sexual interest in a man, it’s not direct but left to the viewer to interpret. His sexuality is never addressed in the novela, and he never pursues another man directly. His main purpose is to serve as the sound board for Rubi’s plans and thoughts.

Rayito de Luz (Ray of Light)
Air date: Dec 2000 to Jan 2001
IMDb rating: 7.3/10
Genres: Telenovela, family-friendly, drama, comedy, religious
Miguel Pizarro's role: Brother Cecilio Pérez
Rayito de Luz is a religion and christmas centered telenovela. I can't find any full episodes of the show, but the trailer is on YouTube.
Miguel plays one of the monastery brothers named Cecilio. He is depicted as clumsy, goofy, and accident prone. In the trailer alone he is in a engine-powered bike(?) accident, falls out of a building, and literally catches on fire. Cecilio is likely an inventor of sorts, based on his engineer goggles and some of the odd inventions and sci-fi vibed incidences shown (yes, there is even a jetpack).
It was impossible to get a decent pic from the trailer 😔

Miguel is also on the soundtrack and its CD cover, the digital version is available on spotify. He is featured in 3 songs: Rayito de Luz, La Llego Navidad (Christmas is Here), and Aleluya! (Hallelujah!). You can't discern his voice from any other's due to the church choir, which is a shame because I love his singing!
