Happy Friday everyone !! I woke up after an off day yesterday- I picked my head up though! We’re all bound to have those days in today’s world- just comes down to what you’re gonna do to make it better. I was lucky to have some kind words from some awesome people around me ☺️☺️😊 . . I got out there and dominated the run and my goal was 40 mins and keep my pace below 8:00 and boy I did it 😤😤👀👀🔥🔥- i am going to plug my music and my shoes- those #zoomvaporfly are just amazing on the bounce off each step! I’ve compared this run to one earlier in the month- and I improved a whole minute- makes me love seeing the results and want them to get better and better- hope you guys are inspired to do something even if it be 20 minutes. Hey all! Sorry hadn’t posted in a bit- I’m gonna be a little long-winded. Today was a #milestone for me- most I’ve ever ran at once 😬🔥💪🏼 - did my 8 miles all at once as I promised myself I would! Got a good tip as I was walking out as I was worried I couldn’t do it. Funny thing is you find out it’s 70% mental at certain points - but my tip was “just turn on some bomb music and go kill it” and that’s basically what I did (thanks @keenlykacey) so if you saw me on the 121 service road running and rapping my songs- I apologize but I was in the zone 🤬🔥🔥🔥 #nogames2018 - also my #nikepegasusturbo are the best shoes I’ve ever owned and ran in- I been using them over a month and wow, thank you @nikerunning - I may need a 2nd pair 😂😂👀 . . . Been on it hard this week- my prior work is paying off!! I’ve gotten my mile below 8 mins- gonna keep working at it- luckily when I get my shorter recovery runs- I hit them hard as I can- 7:20 is the best mile I’ve done in awhile (like since high school lmao) . . . I’ve got a few runs planned- the bmw 5k social run @classicbmw oct 4th, the turkey trot 8m run on thanksgiving 😒, then the @bmwdallasmarathon half marathon dec 9th- so I’m gonna keep at it and get better 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🔥🔥🔥- also been seeing a shift in my old dad bod 😂😂😂 . . Good morning peeps! Thanks for the new follows- kinda having fun with this - I’ll be honest, I’d like to post something daily, so I hope it’s not too annoying 😬 and if it is and you unfollow- it’s always love ❤️ . . To take a break from running- I decided to do some work on the #peloton bike- I have been using that thing for awhile and couldn’t find a short session quick enough so I clicked a beginner 20 minute and I kinda did my own thing after the warm up- started at a lower resistance and then went up to the max and killed my legs so I had to limp up the stairs 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼👀😂 thanks @onepeloton @allymisslove 😜 promise ill listen to the whole thing on the next ride and go longer 👍🏼👏🏼 . . This morning I got my planned training run in- supposed to be at a slower pace closer to 10 mins, but decided to do it to where I felt comfortable and not get my heart rate to the max which makes me feel good- my goal is to be in 6-7mins by December and I’ll slowly chip away at it! Shoutout to my #pegasus35 kicks #nikerunning Also been using different apps for running that work best with the Apple Watch series 3- I would love to hear thoughts on what y’all are using. . . Then I did my pushups and sit-ups I talked about yesterday- I did 3 sets of 20 each today. I did my rookie attempt at a video that showed a set of 20/20. In the 20 days of training I’ve done for my #bmwhalfmarathon I’ve been able to cut my average pace down over a minute. I kinda built an extensive plan with working out and eating right- on top of a different mixture of running plans with the #nikerunclub app. So it’s felt good seeing the improvement. Looking forward to see other people’s progress and how they’re seeing it. My target date is December 9th 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️ . . . Other thing is the new shoes I purchased- the #pegasus35 is an amazing shoe and this is only my first run with them. I went to see @realcoleworld last week- I had the pleasure of growing up around amazing music and some artists come and go and some leave a mark on your mind and soul.
