yknow people dunked on those 2021 makeup redesigns and i get it, the colors and lines in comparison to the old designs really did get Yassified, but when you look at the new makeup sheets and then the actual makeup they dont even match?

where are the pointy eyebrows? the lines under the eyes? the stripes on the forehead? the clover shape under the chin? the makeup sheet isnt even *that* different from the original jelly makeup, but something just got lost in translation along the way there that i dont really think is the entire fault of the design itself

its hard to see bc one is a drawing-drawing and the other is just flats but you can even tell the eye makeup kinda matches

theres that purple/darkish underbrow color + white eyelid combo on both, even if it's less visible in the new design, but on the actual makeup that element isn't present at all
