Visit of Bolonia 🍝 I took a day off from work 👷‍♂️ today to relax and enjoy the city of Bolonia - Italy (exactly one year ago I was in Bolonia - Spain 😅). Obviously known for its #gastronomy with the famous Bolognese sauce, the city is filled with small shops that sell everything from fresh pasta to 24 months parmiggiano. There are also a few iconic monuments such as the two towers of Bolonia (XIIth century) as well as the cathedral (one of biggest in Europe). But I think the main attraction is the #fountain of Neptune, with its very strange depiction of Nereids (sea women), with water coming out of their tits. Hervé - release notes version 2.0 It's finally #roadtrip time again! Hervé the RV is ready with some brand new features including: - Climbing gears for easy access to the roof (thanks @louiscartouche ). - Extra isolation from @fiamma__official for the skylights - New light appliances (old ones were ugly and could not be converted to LEDs. - Brand new shower (kudos to my dad) - this one was a major rebuild - I have pictures of the process if you want. - Water isolation from the body : new water guards for the wheels, drying and rebuilding of the lower portion back wall, and waterproofing of the exposed portions. Gizah Plateau - #2 Wonders of the World A mere 2 months after visiting Chichèn Itza, I couldn't be in Egypt without paying a visit to those majestuous monuments... The travel was rough - I got a food intoxication in Sharm El Sheikh the night before - but it was all worth it 😍 Small tip: make your way through all kind of people trying to sell you stuff or pretending to work for the government. Best: take the 200 pounds for the entry and don't keep anything else. Seeing scars on camels heads and pretty bad marks on horses makes me question supporting this kind of tourism. 🐈🐈 Cats of Dahab 🐈🐈 This place is dogs and cats paradise. You cannot walk in the street or sit at a restaurant without meeting a furry ball. Usually lazily asleep on a sunny spot, they will pproach you as soon as you stand still, either to beg for food or just to get cuddles. Locals and tourists alike are taking great care of them: I even met people who adopted one for a wewk or two... 365 days without this $hit Today is THE anniversary. One year ago I decided to #quitsmoking after 5 years of trial and error, it looks like I finally made it. I finally got rid of this addiction. No more cravings, no more waking up with the need of lighting one up, or urge to smoke one before going to be. And the stress. That might be the hard stuff for me. This nicotine-induced stress. This little buzzzzzz in the back of your head that makes you get another one from your pack, and that gives you this FAKE relief at the first drag. This is all smoke and mirrors. If you feel like quitting, just do it. Find a way to get help for the first few days/weeks, do not meet with smokers for a few weeks. And you'll be fine.
