Oh Lucky Us...

Once upon a time I wrote a post about the Kissing Booth movie on Netflix. 

Since apparently it was so fantastic. 

Netflix has decided to grant us with a sequel.

Lemme start off by saying, I am so mad that this show was canceled. 

I have so many questions. At first I did get annoy that the show didn’t stick to the book, but I got over that when shit started hitting the fan. 

I love Plum. She made me mad at times. But, the feelings and thoughts were so relatable. My goodness. (Also, while I’m typing this, why is Chrome telling me the word “relatable” is misspelled?) 

Now I want to know what is going to happen with this feminist radical group Jennifer? What about the FBI bust? What’s going to happen to Plum? To Leeta?  Are Plum and Dominic going to hook up eventually? 

More importantly, if I’m not going to get a second season, am I going to get a sequel to the book at least? 

I need answers.

Me finding out there’s a follow up anime series for Cardcaptors.

On the left : @dietlandamc a show that starts with someone who struggles with weight loss and diet culture. On the right : @insatiable by @netflix whereby a once fat person who was bullied has her jaw wired shut because of the incident and loses weight as a result. After which she decides to exact revenge. Kinda like a more romanticised version of Khloe Kardashian’s show Revenge Body.

People are rushing to the defence of the latter show, calling it a dark comedy and that Fatty Patty (the former fat person who is portrayed in a fatsuit)

Oh so THATS how fat People take revenge? So when @gabifresh showed us how to embrace a fatkini years ago - that wasn’t a big fuck you to society? So when we address trolls and take photographs of our fat bodies in a variety of clothing - we aren’t reclaiming the shit we have been put through?

So the ONLY way a fat person can get some deliverance is to lose weight, get a spanking new body and exact revenge. While sucking on appreciate suppressant lollipops might I add.

Get the Fuck Outta Here. @netflix DO BETTER. @milano_alyssa the reason for our outrage is not that you don’t ‘shame’ Fatty Patty. It’s that so many of us exist like Fatty Patty and while having her jaw wired shut was not of her doing - the message this sends is so troubling and extremely triggering.

Us fat folks? We want deliverance NOW. Not when we’re our former fat selves but as a glorious confident STILL fat ppl who will not cry over bullies anymore. And for crying out loud. We need more visibly fat poc. Enough with the Caucasity.

iZombie Season 4...

Spent half the day high as a kite. So I thought it would be appropriate to binge watch season 4 of iZombie. The high made the first few episodes hilarious. But lemme cut to the chase.

Must we do this Major/Liv storyline, every damn season. They are endgame, but could we not kill the hot boyfriend off every season. That shit is getting old. They stay getting sacrifice for the greater good.

Also, season 4 just seem like a wrap up to things. Maybe season 5 might be the last. They can throw Major and Liv together, running New Seattle.

Also, Ravi was the true VIP this season. He was hilarious.

Crotchty Bitching Post

Yeah, I know crotchty isn’t a real word, but going to bitch anyway.

Just finished watching Kissing Booth on Netflix.

It’s been a while since I’ve watched an unrealistic high school movie. But, come to think about it, most of them are unrealistic.

Dude didn’t even look like he was in high school. He was cute and tall, but still.

Also, the amount of alcohol in that movie for high school. I dunno what the helll I was doing in high school, but I wasn’t in no big ass beach house drinking and throwing parties.

Also, they used all the cliches from previous high school movies. Maybe b/c they got Molly Ringwald to play a mom.

Not saying I hated the movie, but I’m just being an old af critic right now.

Just finished watching. That music. Those colors. The outfits. The makeup. I was all for it.

I feel like if I listen to this album a few more times it might knock out the love I have for Electric Lady, but all the albums are good.

I hate to admit this but,

I breezed through season 2 of  Miraculous Lady Bug. I hate that Netflix wants to do this half a season drop and then I have to wait another couple of months for the other half to drop. Bad enough I have to wait a year for new episodes.
