initially i was attempting a true recreation, but i quickly dropped that idea when i realised i'll probably abandon this 20mins in as soon as it looks shit and don't believe it'll improve. so instead, the challenge switched to that i wasn't allowed to use the colour pick/eyedropper tool, freehand the colour. then the perfectionism creeped in, and that got reduced to "what i think would look cool".

this was amazing to do. listening to an album on loop while drawing a portrait of the artist, it's like i connected to their music on a new level. i really heard their words. this album is incredible, janelle is an incredible artist.

i'll hopefully have more exciting stuff to upload to this blog soon?

i'm still not fully confident in what i'm doing with the sticker stuff. won't know until I tryy I guess?
