sorry i haven’t been active here. to be honest, i’m not sure i ever will be again.

i don’t have the time to be excited about husbandry currently. i don’t have the time to be excited about fish. general hux passed a few days ago so now i’m down to two fish, and i think i’ll keep that number at just one once my next boy passes. thankfully both are pretty healthy right now, other than a tumor yukio has, but it doesnt seem to be affecting his quality of life so im not worried.

i’m still in school to be a vet tech, retaking a class i failed last semester of course. i love physiology.

i’ll make a new post soon about where you can find me elsewhere.

I took Bitsy to a fancy pet food store today and she turned her nose up at a sample of their gluten-free/organic/virgin-blessed/Kosher-certified/$150-a-bag dog food then immediately ate a beetle off the floor

In this house we respect and support hard-working service dogs by… not bothering them, so that they and their handlers can both go about their business in safety.

I was working with a seagull and I said “as someone in Wildlife I know I should never anthropomorphize animals or hold them to any human moral standard, but seagulls are capable of and regularly knowingly commit evil” and the vet tech with me said “no yeah that’s true.”
